Talk:Itemtest
Item test mode can be invoked on this map by turning on cheats (sv_cheats 1) then using the console command itemtest to bring up a window that allows you to spawn bots with attached weapon or accessory models loaded arbitrarily from disk, and you can have the bots perform basic actions like stand, run, look around, etc. I'm no modeler, but it looks like it would be much more useful for testing (and creating screenshots of) custom models than the current practice of replacing an existing one. Also there are several commands for creating item drop notices, but I didn't look much into those; find item in console will list more related commands. --M2pt5 18:43, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- It seems that sv_cheats isn't required, and that the itemtest command will work on any map. --Pseudo 19:45, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- I wasn't certain about needing cheats, but while it works on any map, item_test has both teams spawning in the same small room. --M2pt5 23:25, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- Well. Now that i know that theres a command for doing things on this map, its a lot more useful, for people like me. Very good job on this find! -= M-NINJA =- 23:35, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

How does a Sniper response sound?
"How's that bullet feel? Feel good? Huh? Huh?" --The Sniper, conducting a product survey.
"Back to the drawing board, genius!" --The Sniper on poorly tested products.
"The bullets come out of the slim end, mate!" --The Sniper, demonstrating how his rifle works.

- I'd say the first one, since the second one has already been used for the unused content page and the third one doesn't fit very well IMO.--Kid Of The Century 09:07, 27 December 2010 (UTC)
