The Tippler's Tricorne is a community-created headwear item for the Demoman and was chosen by Valve to be released with the second wave of community-contributed content due to its outstanding quality. It appears as a broad, three-cornered hat with turned up brims.
The hat description was written by icenine0 for the Hat Describing Contest.

Update history
- The Tippler's Tricorne model was accidentally switched with the Rimmed Raincatcher model.
- Restored the appearance of the Tippler's Tricorne to the version prior to the Mann-Conomy Update.

- The hat's painting texture was improved.
Trivia
- This hat was in fashion during the late 17th century and 18th century. It fell out of style shortly before the French Revolution. At the peak of its popularity, the tricorne was worn as civilian dress and as part of military and naval uniforms.[1]
- A tippler refers to a person who engages in regular, excessive or habitual consumption of alcohol.[2]
