Added Italian Translation to the Template

I added to the Patch layout template the (it)alian language,so that it can be used without problems. Cthulhu1992 12:58, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

Link elements

I think that this template should add <link> element to the <head> element in the HTML code so that user agents (such as my webbrowser SeaMonkey) knows that it is a series of pages. Please help me get this done.--Henke37 13:59, 10 September 2012 (PDT)

Twitter text on russian

Pepsone (talk) 14:58, 23 October 2014 (PDT)

Please conduct talk page conversations in english. If you are looking to translate the twitter string, it is within the template itself. Darkid (Talk | Contribs) 16:07, 23 October 2014 (PDT)
Okay, I want to retranslate twitter string. It contains machine like translation of term «follow». In russian segment of twitter we don't have «followers», there is «readers». I will change this string. Pepsone (talk) 04:14, 26 October 2014 (PDT)

Beta / Xbox / TFC titles for patches

Hi. I tried remake template so that in page title added suffix (beta/classic/xbox): strings 1 and 10. Tested in several languages - all works (for xbox patches need add "game = xbox"). I think it is useful for localized pages. RADISTKillicon conscientious objector.png 04:16, 7 March 2015 (PST)

Collapsed patch diff

If the patch diff is long enough, it can be annoying when editing. I suggest to change the diff layout to be collapsed by default · Ashe (talk) 03:50, 4 December 2021 (UTC)

If we do that it's very likely that users will not notice the feature at all. — Tark 03:56, 4 December 2021 (UTC)
Alright, then could you shorten it to 3 or 4 lines and add a "See more" button? · Ashe (talk) 22:47, 8 December 2021 (UTC)

Remove mandatory source-lang / lang-icon en

Since updates are now translated by Valve's Crowdin members, I think it's unnecessary to mandatory include the term source-lang with lang icon en. For example, in August 11, 2022 Patch/pt-br, I had to put the source-lang as pt-br, because the original article is translated, and it doesn't make much sense, since the "Fonte:" (source) is literally in Brazilian Portuguese.
It would be the equivalent of putting: "Source: Team Fortress 2 Update Released (English)". Tiagoquix (talk) 20:34, 19 August 2022 (UTC)

Pictogram tick.png Done — Tested using custom pages: User:Tiagoquix/Sandbox, User:Tiagoquix/Sandbox/pt-br and Template:User Tiagoquix Template. source-lang and update-lang parameters have been removed. Justification in the edits. Tiagoquix (talk) 04:32, 25 August 2022 (UTC)
The only problem is that old updates won't have lang-icon. It's the only downside. As I don't know how to deal with Java/Lua and the like, I wouldn't know how to make updates from X day on to don't have a mandatory source-lang. Tiagoquix (talk) 04:35, 25 August 2022 (UTC)
