POW, haha!
Judging by the description of the Shred Alert, it could possibly be a Taunt Attack, unlike other taunts. Should this be mentioned somewhere? [UGS 2nd]Lancer @nti-tank Rocket 16:40, 14th February 2013 (GMT)
- Plain speculation. This souldn't be noted. I'm also removing lots of other speculations. – Epic Eric (T | C) 09:36, 14 February 2013 (PST)
Changed animations?
Other than the Scout, I don't see any obvious changes in the taunt animations. Am I missing something? MartianSanta 17:17, 28 February 2013 (PST)
- Not quite sure, maybe Valve updated only Scout's one. Hinaomi (talk) • (contributions) 17:36, 28 February 2013 (PST)
Sniper hat "hop" classified as a bug?
This seems odd, as the hop looks intentional, being that it lifts at the apex of his jump. I'll be removing it from the article, but adding a discussion note here in case someone feels that the nature of the hop needs to be disputed, while foregoing the need to edit it back and forth which tends to become rather annoying. Taunt icon
I think taunt icon took the place at Gorge or 5Gorge, can anyone check and is this worth enough to be trivia? Rikka Takanashi (talk) • (contributions) 04:38, 5 March 2013 (PST)
Shred Alert bought from Mann Co. store is craftable?
So, I bought a Shred Alert taunt from Mann Co. online store today, and turns out, it's actually craftable. Usually all items bought from Mann Co. store are non-craftable. Was this intended, or is it just a simple mistake? SpaztasticSpazmatism 04:36, 15 March 2013 (PDT)
- Maybe Valve set it to craftable. Rikka Takanashi (talk) • (contributions) 04:41, 15 March 2013 (PDT)
- Since the November 29, 2012 Patch, all items bought in the Mann Co. Store (whether in-game or online) are craftable, but this doesn't matter much when it comes to taunts, as they cannot be used in crafting anyway. 'Stache 04:46, 15 March 2013 (PDT)
Boom-Bringer sound...?
Is it just me, or did someone accidentally insert one of the Boston Boom-Bringer's sounds into the preview sound? --MasterOfTheXP 05:23, 29 March 2013 (PDT)
Incorrect Trivia
"Red alert" isn't the highest level of alert. That would be DEFCON (DEFense CONdition) 1, Imminent (Thermo)Nuclear War.
Coloring bug
I do not doubt this bug exists, but "some weapons" seems too vague and leaves a guessing game, just 1 or 2 examples would be enough. I also believe amongst the litany of bugs in general, a photo of one would be nice (as with VSH, yes I know that's a gamemode, but this taunt is unique).-- Akolyth (talk) 14:57, 27 October 2023 (UTC)
- The citation needed implies it's an unconfirmed claim, perhaps
{{needimage}}
would suffice better?

- I'm mostly sure one of the weapons that cause this problem is the Flying Guillotine, perhaps when using its second style. In technical terms, this probably happens due the second style for this weapon in specific being the model's second skin, and not a separate model where it uses another texture instead, so it causes issues with the taunt prop thinking it's on the other team. I theorize that, if someone has the weapon with the first style on the BLU team, and taunts, it shows as RED, while having the weapon with the second style on the RED team shows as BLU.
- If that is the case, then, every weapon on the items_game.txt file that uses "skin" for style switchers will most likely cause this issue, but it's possible that it's not only for styles either. The Gloves of Running Urgently uses the same model as the Killing Gloves of Boxing, but uses the 3rd and 4th skin instead, so it's worth some tests as well.
