Has Bonk! really a taunt?

While the Heavy's Sandvich at least shares the M1 button with the taunt, pressing "G" with the Bonk!/Crit-a-Cola equipped does nothing. --Kid Of The Century 12:12, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

New High Five Taunts

New High Five taunts for every class (sans Engineer) have been added to the CFG. Could someone QUICKLY add these to the taunt lists before they're removed?--The preceding unsigned comment was added by Satorifan (talk) • contribs) 21:33, 2 October 2010

Regarding the Bonk!/CaC 'taunt'...

I feel it's a bit misleading to state it as "unused", as the player would clearly see the Scout doing it upon drinking (even though it's not a 'G-key taunt') and could lead to some unnecessary confusion as the text of the article even states that said 'taunt' activates the Bonk!/CaC. However I'm unsure of any other way to place it on the article. Perhaps by placing it in the "Secondary" area, but stating via footnote that the sole purpose of the animation is for the activation of the effect, and not for 'taunting' purposes (as it's clearly viewable in-game, so it's not exactly unused as common sense would dicate).

Think of it this way: if the average player tried to 'taunt' with it, they'd fail right? Yet if they press their primary fire button, they'd see the apparently 'unused (according to the wiki)' taunt, which the wiki also states activates the effect of the drink. This would lead to confusion or accusations that the wiki is inaccurate.

And yes, it is technically a taunt. Thoughts? i-ghost 12:02, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
