User:Firestorm
A very well-formatted page with a very comprehensive and detailed description of the subject. The page is colorful with plenty of pictures. The subject may be prone to lapses of extreme egotism, but otherwise is a stalwart example of a person. -- A user that isn't Firestorm 23:23, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
- That article sucks. It's the worst article of this wiki. I'm deleting it right now. -- OluapPlayer (t) 23:39, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

- Stalwart Support Page has been updated, it is now better than before, something that was previously thought impossible --Firestorm 22:30, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
- Support It's an impressive example of a unique, well-made User page. It is informative, but still entertaining. It is long, but still interesting. It is orange, but still easy on the eyes. Also, supporting this is a good excuse for me to throw up my new signature again, which I really do love a little too much. -- -- 06:24, 18 October 2010 (UTC)

(talk ▪ contrib) 06:25, 18 October 2010 (UTC) - Impulsive support I have no idea why. He sounds awesome though. +1 Jk. He has a large, intriguing, and enlightening anecdote about this particular user.
- Oppose I believe that if you were to place a user page in the featured article box, newer users might become confused if they were to be imminently met with a user, rather than helpful information. Renaman 13:58, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

- Yes, what I said above was a joke; perhaps I should be asking you that question. ButteredToast 12:59, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

Backstab
I nominate the page Backstab, as it shows the proper Featured article criteria and contains information that any person that uses the Spy class should really tune into.
- ANormalUsername 10:44, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
- Comment: A bit more formatting is required. More pictures and examples may be useful. The Trivia and Related Achievements should be towards the bottom, as the backstab techniques can be considered more important --Firestorm 18:05, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
- Support: I agree. I'll get to reorganizating the sections right away and see what photos I can add to the article. ----- Davtwan 23:58, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- Comment: I have finished the major revisions to the article. Add your comments and questions here or to the article's Discussion page.
- Support: this is a great article for a great tactic in the gameAres5566 02:47, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
- Support: I totally agree Octaytse 04:21, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose: I do not agree. I do not think an action, or type of kill should be featured. Renaman 13:54, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- Comment: Bit harsh? I would encourage people to improve the standards of all articles. With an FA about an action/type of kill people covering similar articles, for example Headshot, will be able to use this one as a base. I think it would be un-wiki like if we didn't encourage editors to improve all articles to a FA standard by saying that certain article types are excluded from being FA as you suggest. --Leftism 14:31, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
- Support: Something every TF2 player encounters across from the very beginning. Article is fleshed out, includes a comprehensive description of backstabs as well as useful tactics. --Ten19 09:19, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
- Support: Considering how confusing, yet vitally important backstabs are, I say it should be featured. --Stevoisiak 19:19, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
- Support: I agree. This would be a highly interesting thing to feature on the front page for users who visit the wiki for an informational basis. TechnetiumG
- Support: I agree. Backstabbing is a hard thing to do, especially for newbies! Fragus 23:08, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
- Support: I agree; a lot of people don't entirely understand backstabs and how they work, this would be nice to have up. THD 13:38, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
Buff Banner
Thorough and well-written with images and a video. -Shine () 06:11, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
- Support I rewrote some of it, and am not entirely happy with it, but what the hell. --Focusknock 16:20, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
Compression Blast
I'd like to nominate the Compression Blast page; it follows all the criteria and is incredibly informative. Shaleblade 21:12, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose Whilst it is indeed informative, there seem to be a bit too many videos and the paragraphs are all clumped together, making it a very difficult read. It perhaps needs a bit more tweaking.--Focusknock s 20:06, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker
An informative page demonstrating how articles should be written, contains pictures, A demonstration video, as well as interesting trivia. Images are relevant, even showing how the weapon looks when not wielded by a player. Has basic facts which are sweetened by uncommon knowledge. I nominate this page due to its excellent quality and easy to read format. Cidem 06:18, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
Demoman
I nominated the Demoman page as a featured article. It's probably time we give a special spot light to our favorite black, scottish, cyclops. The page itself is very informative, relating back to the comic of the Demoman's class update and explaining his real name and history. It contains, as most class pages do, the information card and several pictures to boot. It also contains information on the plush sticky bomb promotional items that were released. The article also contains the necessary and needed links for all the information garnered as well. Hey, maybe some new comer will notice this as the featured article and stumble upon those plush sticky bombs, giving Valve a nice boost in money hmm?Brosidon
Support I agree with everything you said except the last point. The wiki is not about boostinv Valve's money (unless you're a pessimist). --Focusknock 10:58, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
Direct Hit
I'd like to nominate the Direct Hit article. It's very informative, is well-written and has interesting and relevant trivia. Kane.malakos 20:27, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
hound dog
i nominate the hound dog because of it being an awesome hatIaindude 09:25, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose Please give more information regarding why this article should be nominated. It looks like your normal Hat page. Kevschow 21:15, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
Medic page
I nominate the Medic page.
http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Medic
It meets all the criteria and is helpful for anyone new to the game, wanting to learn about the medic. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Allegra (talk) • (contribs) 2011-01-03T02:42:42
Golden Wrench
I'm nominating the Golden Wrench page due to how much the wrenches actually caused during and after their initial purpose. Drunken F00l's banning over them, the Golden Charity, the sheer impact it had on our backpacks. These little things are more than just a reskin with a cool on-kill effect. They caused some of the most chaotic weeks in TF2 history.
The controversy when we found out they had set times to get crafted after many crafted so much of their back packs. 25 wrenches equaling that day's information. Our surprise whenever someone destroys one. These things did so much more than just look pretty and make us wonder if they're made of Australium. That, I can respect. BraveTriforcer 14:52, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
Hacking
Well written, exteremly informative, and it will help new people to understand that sometimes a good player isn't always a hacker. Renaman 13:57, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
Oppose: 'I do not agree. I do not think an action should be a featured article' dirty hypocrit Strobe 13:58, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- Do not downsize me on a featured article discussion or I will call an admin to remedy the situation. Also, it is spelled Hypocrite. Renaman 14:34, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose: I don't think its an appropriate article for featured article. Featured articles shouldn't be about the negatives of a game. Also Strobe please do not insult or attack other users. This is a discussion. Moussekateer 14:46, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose: I would say it needs more content before it should be approved. Scatmanjohn 14:48, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- Support: Sounds good enough to be featured. Mortis 06:01, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
Golden Charity
I am nominating the following article for Featured Article. Not only is the article for the event, Golden Charity, well written, but it is also concise, on the point, and accurate with information. At the same time, the article is using additional details quite sparingly. The article features many trustworthy hyperlinks; in addition, a video recording the event is presented, and an illustration given by vaLVe is provided. That is why I feel that this[1] article is a perfect candidate for Featured Article. --SnakeSkull 04:59, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
Item Drop System for Featured Article
I have picked the Item Drop System for appearing on the Featured Article list becuase it shows one of the ways you are able to obtains items and hats in Team Fortress 2.The article also includes information on any changes to the system done by Valve (e.x, The Drop System Change and the Double Drop Week.) --Coneill987
