Monoculus and HHH

Is it worth noting that when both the HHH and Eye are spawned, they will not attack eachother, unlike when multiple HHH are spawned?

Also the entity name is eyeball_boss. Untouch 12:02, 28 October 2011 (PDT)

Maybe for Trivia, but I don't think it's that noteworthy. After all, in order to force a boss spawn, you need to turn sv_cheats on and therefore shouldn't be considered to be part of the main game anyway. - Selbi 16:14, 28 October 2011 (PDT)
Neither are notable, as they don't both spawn normally, and the entity name isn't interesting/note worthy. - 6vKcd.pngnixshadow (t|c) 16:21, 28 October 2011 (PDT)
From a mapper's standpoint it is. xD Less research for me. Sven 10:45, 29 October 2011 (PDT)
They don't attack each other, it's a quirk with HHH's AI. He's coded to try to destroy anything blocking his path; this includes other HHHs. Warrior 7 19:44, 29 October 2011 (PDT)

Trivia

I just made my first update to the wiki, I added the "Pyro can deflect Monoculus' projectiles as a trivia, is that okay? The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hunterh98 (talk) • (contribs) 03:05, 1 November 2011

Sorry, but that isn't interesting trivia, and it's already mentioned in the article anyway. Take a look at the Trivia Guide. » Cooper Kid (blether) • (contreebs) 05:46, 1 November 2011 (PDT)

The locked control point showing up "Waiting for a teammate" is a bit of code taken directly from DOD:S. I'm not sure which game copied the other though. I think this would be a good trivia note. Hell-met 16:34, 1 November 2011 (PDT)

Lots of bits of source games are re-used in others - sound effects, textures, all sorts. Not noteworthy trivia, unfortunately. » Cooper Kid (blether) • (contreebs) 19:21, 1 November 2011 (PDT)

Can someone confrim this?

When Monoculus destroys a sentry, does engineer shout "sentry down!"? GreenEarth28 09:56, 1 November 2011 (PDT)

Very technically, he should. I can't see why he wouldn't, as I don't expect he is programmed not to. Kazzymodus 10:10, 1 November 2011 (PDT)

No, I mean that sometimes I respawn, Monoculus destroys my sentry (as I noted there is no kill icon) and engineer doesn't say anything. GreenEarth28 10:18, 1 November 2011 (PDT)

Damage done by being in the underworld

While in the underworld, all players take periodic damage which ignores any invulnerability buff they may have, be it Bonk, a regular Uber, or even the 'Uber' granted by escaping the underworld. Should that be mentioned? Adreadline 10:53, 1 November 2011 (PDT)

We're discussing this presently on the Eyeaduct talk page. » Cooper Kid (blether) • (contreebs) 12:25, 1 November 2011 (PDT)

Angry?

What does it mean he's now angry? Bujeebus 16:11, 2 November 2011 (PDT)

He now fires rapidly all the time, rather than only when hit by crits. --Piemanmoo 16:13, 2 November 2011 (PDT)

Max level

So I've been testing the new Level system for the Monoculus on my idle server (205.204.75.195:27016) using a Monoculus Spawner plugin. So far we've gotten him up to Level 14. I'm gonna keep spawning him until he stops levelling up. At level 14 it's a pain in the arse to kill him. 404: User Not Found (talk) 19:43, 2 November 2011 (PDT)

Ok so I went and installed this plugin to give myself a Rocket Launcher with a +1000000% damage bonus attribute, and started repeatedly spawning the Monoculus, then killing him. I've got him at Level 46 so far, and I have a feeling I'll be hitting Level 100 in the next hour or two. 404: User Not Found (talk) 21:35, 2 November 2011 (PDT)
Well, needless to say, I don't think there's a maximum level that the Monoculus can reach. I've gotten him up to Level 106, and he continues to keep levelling up. Most attacks do a tiny sliver of damage and he seems to be able to take out anything with his eyeball rockets. The more you know! 404: User Not Found (talk) 22:12, 2 November 2011 (PDT)
