More hats

I have more hats than you. -- Smashman... (ts) 21:13, 4 July 2010 (UTC)

How could you craft the Toque away, how :'( A Sassy Dog 17:58, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
I stopped using it once I got the Rag. Besides, I really wanted a Sniper hat and trading hadn't been announced.--Piemanmoo 21:10, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

Image categories

It's good that you are putting in licensing information with uploads. You also need to add them to a proper category, like [[Category:Item name images/fr]]. You can copy that in the summary field before the upload. If you don't do it, I have to come along after you and fix it up. -- Pilk (talk) 23:48, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

You also need to put item name images licensed as public domain. -- Pilk (talk) 23:50, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

-sure thing--Piemanmoo 23:52, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

Hidden attributes

There are no "visible" hidden attributes. If a particular weapon has hidden attributes, such as the Backburner and it's inability to crit, it should be indicated in the article not the infobox. -- Pilk (talk) 05:53, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

So far the hidden attribute feature is really just meant for the Ban Hammer. It's not for stuff like the Backburner not critting and things like that.--Piemanmoo 05:55, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
Ah, makes sense. Thanks. -- Pilk (talk) 07:01, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

Featured article

Please read over this page. Thanks. -- En Ex (talk) 01:03, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

Seb was the one who nominated it, but was told to wait until the 24th.--Piemanmoo 01:05, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
I'm going based on what I'm seeing on the page I linked you to. I'll talk to Seb later. In any event, if that's the case, then changing the article would be Seb's job, or another admin's. I have no idea why that page wasn't protected. -- En Ex (talk) 01:09, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
Yeah most front page templates should be locked for cohesiveness. Luckily for you I brought this to your attention. ;)--Piemanmoo 01:47, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
What about Template:Updates and Template:Featured banner then? Guess I'll protect them too. — Wind 01:53, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
Good thinking, I was just going to suggest that.--Piemanmoo 01:54, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

Weapon damage stats

Now that I see a lot of weapons use links to other weapons instead of showing stats directly, I'm unsure about what the policy is. I personally think all pages should have stats, which isn't that hard to maintain (it's not like there's 10 kinds of pistols and that they change its damage stats every week). Regardless, this shouldn't be an issue if/when we get SMW. — Wind 00:52, 1 September 2010 (UTC)

I, too, am unsure on the policy. But in the meantime I'd like to make it look consitant, so I added the stats to the sam&max weapons too.--Piemanmoo 01:07, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
Yes, that's how I noticed the inconsistency. You did well :3 — Wind 01:08, 1 September 2010 (UTC)

"Forza della Natura"

Hi, just asking, did the unlockable old italian translations were resumed? When I updated the Scout page I saw that Force-a-Nature was not translated in the TF_ITALIAN.TXT file. Now I saw you put "Forza Della Natura" back. (BTW, are you italian?)--Kid Of The Century 15:11, 6 September 2010 (UTC)

I'm not quite sure what you're asking. The Forza Della Natura name was based on the tf2items files. And yes I'm part italian, part canadian, so I am very hairy.--Piemanmoo 18:41, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
AFAIK Valve removed the translated unlockable weapon names from the TF_ITALIAN.TXT file, getting rid of the odd names such as "Forza della Natura" "Karavaso" (jarate) and "Cipollotto Letale" (dead ringer) to name a few. I asked why put that back, and if Valve did reinstate them in recent update.--Kid Of The Century 15:20, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
Well the TF_ITALIAN file still references the unlockable names, both in achievments and by themselves, so that's why they were translated here.--Piemanmoo 17:31, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

Spanish translations

I really thanks your help, but please, don't translate into spanish, normally I have to re-write the articles D: But anyway, thanks! Specially for the sounds.--Sr_Domi 21:47, 14 September 2010 (UTC)

I'll tell you what, I'll just use text from tf_spanish.txt to translate the bulk of the pages, and any text that's directly not from in-game you'll be free to translate. No sense in either of us working too hard, right? Also, new comments stay at the bottom of talk pages. Thanks, and have fun editing!--Piemanmoo 21:54, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
I'm ok with that, but some hats, like Laz Gafaz has gramaticals errors that makes my eyes bleed. I dont want to annoy you, but the best you can do is nothing. Normally I hace to rewrite the 90% of your work. Sorry, but Im no kidding.--Sr_Domi 22:12, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
Well, then you're welcome for me saving you that 10% ;). --Piemanmoo 22:15, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
That was a Joke. The 99% of your work is wirng in too ways. Stop trying to translate: you are delaying my work. You have no idea. {{subst:void|This template should always be substituted. Where? (oh, and that line in Spanish is wrong)--Sr_Domi 20:33, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
Hey, I think that looking on how we translate, your spanish its a bit better! Thanks for fixing some words on the Sound'n'safe, this is the way that the thing needs to be doing :D--Sr_Domi 12:09, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
Seriously, whats the point of creating new articles if you arent gong to work on it? Whats the point on editing if you dont have too much idea? I dont ge it. Its pointless. --Sr Domi 11:26, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
You yourself said you wanted to be the one to translate the main text of the page, so I'm leaving that part so you can look over it yourself. Maybe if you spent more time translating and less time complaining they wouldn't be unfinished.--Piemanmoo 19:46, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
Sorry? For God's Sake, you dont have any idea of what I'm working on! I translate and edit a lot of articles every day, and Im the lider of a steam group translating the wiki, helping every time they need me, fixing his bugs or errors. Second, there is a lot of articles that need more attention than the main page. Third, if you spent more time doing things the right way and less time making problems, you wouldn't be "attacked". So, the next time, please, think, insteed of trying to be the one who is right. This is not a fight or a game: this is a serious proyect of translating. And it will be faster if you could do a good job on the spanish wiki. You cant do it right? Dont do it. Because... why I dont translate the french, japanese or korean wiki? Why only the spanish? Because is the thing that I can do it right: translating with some help. Can you say the same? --Sr Domi 22:37, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
Calm down.--Piemanmoo 23:22, 22 September 2010 (UTC)

Hello Piemanmoo. I am translating the spanish wiki and I would like to ask you two things, if you would let me to ^^ As Sr_Domi has requested, try not translating and opening new articles because it's going the wrong way. While I think you are doing it for good, it's actually not working very well because spanish is hard. For instance, I've found lots of errors related to gender and number agreement. I know that you want to help, so that is why I am asking you the second thing. Sr_Domi has told me that you have uploaded sound files and images, and that's how you can be TRULY useful for our project. Also, he told me that you've corrected some silly errors, and it would also be nice if you kept up with that.Leblinski 22:50, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

If that is how I can help, I'll be glad to do so. See, a little politness can go a long way.--Piemanmoo 22:54, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

Hi, im new in the Wiki, so I want to help to make articles in Spanish. Why?. Well, I live in country where Spanis is the natal language, so i want to help to do the new articles. If you speak spanish read more, is not, only ignore me. Gracias Cabrakan 1:00, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi,again. Firts thanks for the Lugermorfa's image for the name, so i want to request more images. I make three more articles in spanish: Pistola de jeringas, Blutsauger, Pistola médica. Also i modifique the weapons templete and the weapons main page. gracias Cabrakan 1:00, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
