I need some help with that Porntuguese of yours
Disciplinary Action/pt-br needs an "as a crafting ingredient" section, and you seem like you're the right guy to handle the hoovy dooty stoof. rZ 05:29, 26 June 2012 (PDT)
Question
Hello, I recently saw your removal of my Trivia on the Hazmat Headcase. While you are allowed to remove it if you feel it is necessary, I do believe it is relevant to the item. The definition of 'Headcase' combined with it being an item for the Pyro and it being released on the same day that we learned how insane the pyro is, I believe it is worth being noted in the Trivia section. Anyway, thanks for your time. LazerEagle1 23:45, 29 June 2012 (PDT)

Putting the {{backpack item}}
discussion in that news template didn't get more people to do it. Having a sitenotice about it would be too far. What do we do? We are runnin' outa op-shinz. rZ 13:04, 14 July 2012 (PDT)
- vOv Maybe you can ask individual people to add their opinion? Just try not to be invasive/spammy about it. – Epic Eric (T | C) 02:49, 15 July 2012 (PDT)
- Yeah, so I'll individually ask a bunch of people without being spammy. (Just in case you dun realize, that's pretty impossibru. :<) Maybe we should consider a simple collapsible sitenotice. rZ 11:07, 16 July 2012 (PDT)
An idea for alphabetics disambiguation pages
I have an idea for the translation of alphabetics disambiguations pages. See my exemple (in french) and say me if it's a good idea or not. Kero Zen 04:10, 17 July 2012 (PDT)
- I have two issues with this:
- First, disambiguations in other languages should ideally point out to pages in that language. Which means: /fr disambigs point to other /fr pages, not /en pages;
- Second, these "alphabetic disambiguations" (as you call them) were removed because they are orphaned and no-one would type "AA/fr" or "HH/de" or "CC/pt-br" or anything similar in the search bar.
- I would be glad to see other possibilities to solve this issue, though. But this one wouldn't work. Sorry. :/ – Epic Eric (T | C) 23:50, 17 July 2012 (PDT)
- Thank you for your answer, I stop my work on this pages and I concentrate on other pages more important to translate.Kero Zen 00:54, 18 July 2012 (PDT)
Did you know…
Hi. There are duplicates in some new facts:
- that the Backburner originally granted a bonus of +50 maximum health?
- that when the Scout double or triple jumps with the Atomizer, he will leave a purple smoke puff behind instead of his regular white trail?
- that the Razorback originally had a -15% movement speed reduction on the wearer?
- that a Scout getting gibbed has a 1 in 100 chance of spawning a dove flying out of his body?
- that the Huntsman, Jarate, and an unpacked crate marked "Razorback" can all be seen in the Meet the Spy video?
They all can be found on page Template:Did you know/Previously featured facts. Maybe look for other? --Genuine GAL 06:16, 17 July 2012 (PDT)
- Hey, good job spotting these! I'll change them right away. – Epic Eric (T | C) 23:54, 17 July 2012 (PDT)
Image Cache
Regarding your recent discussion with me, I wanted to bring to your attention a potential problem.
When I was attempting to correct the Bazooka's killicon, I noticed that the cache was not loading properly, instead displaying the old image as apparently everyone else thought as well. Unfortunately, inside the MediaWiki box, the hyperlink to view to server's view of the image appeared to be not properly formatted.
In short it reads:
[?1343869613 View the most recent version of this file stored on the server]
Instead of :
View the most recent version of this file stored on the server
I attempted to view the server's image by viewing the viewing the image by itself (right-click -> view image) and appending "?1343869613" to the end of the image URL itself. It was incorrect before I reverted it and corrected itself after.
I presume that the hyperlink was what you were referring in order to view the server's image.
Looking around I noticed that there were several image files with this type of problem.
For comparison here is an image file with a valid hyperlink:
http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/File:Healthico.png
And here is one with an invalid link:
http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/File:Painted_Hero%27s_Tail_D8BED8.png
Granted that viewing a server's image cache is not a particular priority, I fear there may be many more images if this becomes a problem.
- Ah, I see. Thanks for pointing that out. I'll try to get this issue fixed soon. – Epic Eric (T | C) 20:23, 1 August 2012 (PDT)
