My name is Peter, or Pete for short, I'm 16 years old, and I'd consider myself an avid Team Fortress 2 player. I have 600 hours and counting of playtime, and I'm fairly into trading and the Team Fortress Wiki. As for real life shenanigans, I don't play any sports anymore (I used to play Soccer, Baseball, and a little of Basketball), but I am currently in my High School's Marching Band. This year we received a new band director and everything's pretty much falling apart. That's about it for that, I don't do many things, I will commonly be quoted saying "I don't do things", which is fairly accurate. I like to sleep and I like TF2, that's about it.
I currently am going to High School and I'm in my Junior year. For most of my life I have been on a slightly more advanced track than the average student. Nothing spectacular or amazing, but about a grade level ahead. More recently I have fallen back in the subject of English to a more "normal" track. By normal I mean I am currently taking AP English II, which is about what the higher ranking students should be taking this year. But as for math, I have always, and probably will continue, to be quite a bit above the curve. Ever since Elementary School I have been taking advanced math classes. Around the end of middle school, when I had completed all of the available math courses at my school, I was assigned online schooling for a year. And it was in this year that I successfully completed two full years of math, thus pushing me farther along the line. And then we come to today and as of this moment, I am taking AP Calculus as a Junior in High School. So as for my Education level, yes it is a bit above average, but I have my dumb moments and am by no means brilliant. I also try to refrain from coming off as conceited when presenting this, so I hope that is not what you take from this article.
I have been playing Team Fortress 2 for quite some time now. Although I can't tell you the exact day I started (because I don't remember), but I can tell you I have 600+ hours. I am currently playing on a laptop that is not capable of running any modern game now-a-days. But that's where Team Fortress 2 comes in. Team Fortress 2 was released in 2007, and for such an old game, it still has a thriving, awesome, community. So I got into playing TF2 and at first, it was horrible. I was playing at a consistent 10 frames per second, and it was practically unplayable. And after a few months hiatus from the game because of this, I discovered Chris' FPS Config. It was a game changer, I was able to play the game at fairly decent frame rates (by my standard), and I was having a good time. This new found spark of the game really go me into it, and I've been pretty much addicted since. I love TF2's unique gameplay, its community, and trading. I have more recently sort of fallen in love with trading and just all the fun I have doing it. I realize this isn't probably everybody's cup of tea, and so that's why I won't let trading influence me in anything I do on this wiki, this is a place of facts, not opinions.
I'm still pretty new to the Team Fortress Wiki, but my main objective on here is just to help clean stuff up a bit. I feel there are probably more than enough capable users on here to make new pages, so for the most part I will just be correcting any little errors. Whether it be grammatical errors, poor wording, or just confusing text, I'll be here just to make things a bit tidier. I'm always glad to help out something that is as awesome as this wiki, I love the community input and just how useful this thing is. So I hope I can aid/assist in maintaining this awesome website.
