The Hat With No Name is a community-created headwear item for the Soldier. It is a tall team-colored cowboy hat, that sinks down below the Soldier's eyes.
The Hat With No Name was contributed to the Steam Workshop under the name "Western Legend".

- The hat's name references Template:W, a stock character typically used in western films.
- The title of "A Nameless Man" refers to the Soldier. His given name from the WAR! Update, Jane Doe, is used as a (female) placeholder name in a legal action, case or discussion when someone's true identity is unknown.
- The hat was originally submitted to be for the Demoman as well as the Soldier.
