This is a list of the default controls for the PC version of Team Fortress 2. All keys are user-definable in the game Options, via the Developer Console or using scripts.

"w": Move forward
"s": Move back
"a": Move left (Strafe)
"d": Move right (Strafe)
"SPACE": Jump
"CTRL": Duck (Crouch)
" ' ": Swim up (i.e. apostrophe. Rarely used.)
"/": Swim down (Rarely used.)
"PGUP": Look up (i.e. "Page Up". Rarely used.)
"PGDN": Look down (i.e. "Page Down". Rarely used.)
Communication
"v": Use voice communication. Speak to players only on your team, provided the Server cvar "sv_alltalk" is set to "0". If set to "1", all players on the server will receive your voice chat.
"y": Chat message. Text chat to all players on the server, including Spectators.
"u": Team message. Text chat to players only on your team.
