The Shooter's Sola Topi is a headwear item for the Sniper and was chosen by Valve to be released with the first wave of community-contributed content due to its outstanding quality. It appears as a rounded pith helmet.

Trivia
- Better known as the pith helmet, the sola topi was introduced by the British colonial military in the late 19th Century. Popular amongst Westerners in tropical climates for its light weight, relative hardiness and its ability to cast shade, the hat was traditionally made from "pith": a type of Indian swamp plant.
- This hat is a reference to the Sniper's former life as a hunter of dangerous game.
- Due to the similarity to the hat that the villian Van Pelt wears in the 1995 movie Jumanji, this hat has gained the nickname "The Jumanji Hat" among a good deal of the community.
