Regarding Kill-Eater Ranks

As we should all know by now, the Kill Eater attribute is for the "Strange" quality weapons. Along with the attribute came 20 "Ranks", one of which is "Strange". This is what I originally wanted to do, to implement all 20 "Ranks":

I was going to add in 20 separate strange "quality values", labelled strange1, strange2, strange3, etc, then have each one display the proper rank name. For example:

  • If strange4 was chosen as the "quality value", the userbox would say "This user owns a Somewhat Threatening <Weapon>"
  • Or, if strange20 was chosen, the userbox would say "This user owns a Hale's Own <Weapon>"

Of course, each Rank would retain the base Strange quality border/text/background colors (that nice orangey tone). However, I haven't quite convinced myself that doing this would be the best way. Is there any better way to do this than what I've explained above? 404 User Not Found 08:10, 24 June 2011 (PDT)

July 16th, 2011 - Bug Fix

So I just fixed a bug that I found, due to some odd spacing in the code that pertains to the "a <quality> <item>" text. It was causing the item name, in most cases (usually with the Self-Made, Community and Valve quality boxes), to line-break down to the next line. Everything's all fixed now. 404 User Not Found 21:41, 15 July 2011 (PDT)

Move to {{User item}}

Consistent with all other User boxes. Thoughts? – Smashman (talk) 16:45, 14 June 2013 (PDT)

Yup. I agree.Sap1l (talk) 20:16, 18 June 2013 (PDT)
