Trivia
- The in game description calls the shako "The grand achievement of Victorian military fashion." This is somewhat inaccurate as Shakos were generally more popular during the Georgian era.
- The Template:W was a common part of regimental uniforms from the late 18th century, peaking in popularity during the Napoleonic Wars. Many European regiments still wore Shakos as part of their uniforms during the early stages of World War I, until the need for more protective headwear was needed. It is still worn as part of certain parade uniforms and marching bands.
- The Shako resembles a stereotypical "Template:W" hat.
- Due to the Soldier's default hat physics (His regular helmet) There are some minor clipping issues with his forehead. Although this is more noticeable while taunting, specifically the Shovel taunt.
