Asking WindBOT to do Item names

You know it did nothing, right?  – Smashman (talk) 01:47, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

You fail, join IRC channel. seb26 [talk] 01:48, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

Trending topics?

Could you, or someone, PLEASE update the Trending Topics? Also, the Main Page is STILL showing the blog post on the 2nd as the latest event. From the Main Page it seems like we've entirely missed the new update. I think adding a banner would be good too. To herd people into the new articles.  – Smashman (talk) 10:17, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

Later, yes seb26 [talk] 10:20, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

Dodge ball

Hey buddy i saw that i accidentally added dodge ball. Please tell me how to delete it. your thread is very good and mine will not be needed --The preceding unsigned comment was added by Neilzepan (talk) • contribs) 11:08, 1 October 2010

I've redirected the page instead of deleting it so it goes straight to the article instead of a deleted page message. Thanks for contributing, anyway =] seb26 [talk] 11:10, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
Seb ninjas! Do keep contributing Neil, but Please remember to sign your comments on talk pages with ~~~~.  – Smashman (talk) 11:14, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

Whoops

I broke something. Help? -Shine[] 07:41, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

The prices.

I thought you were working on making - disable the prices on the infobox. Or did you give up? Could you try and do it please? Having dashes is odd.  – Smashman (talk) 13:19, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

I'm about to head off to bed, you could just hide them for now and I'll look at fixing it in the morning. Sorry. seb26 [talk] 13:23, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
That's ok. Thanks for saying you'll do it. I wish I could attempt to do it. Let me know when you'll try and do it. Thanks. Good Night! o/  – Smashman (talk) 13:54, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
Do dis please. :D  – Smashman (talk) 23:46, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Polish item image names

Could you correct File:Item name Stout Shako pl.png? It should be "Opasłe Czako" instead of "Opasła Czaka" - those new Polish editors don't even apply to official names, looking for Wiki Cap. Also, if you'll be sending other names for Mann-Conomy Polish articles, could you look on User:Parseus/Mann-Conomy? I listed all official names there. Thanks in advance. --Parseus 09:23, 3 October 2010 (UTC)

The Croc-o-Style Kit

Oh, ok, sorry, I was just worried about obtaining Wikicopete. >.< I don't edit it more ;)

Sorry for my english and thanks for you attetion :) bb! - Ryo 03:53, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

Some work ?

Than when you do not support Slovakian than can I help with something else ? I can also speak Czech and of course English. Also how I can become Mojor contributor for some content ? -Lower111

We would be happy to have you translate into Czech. Talk to Blackbird as I think he has done most of Czech translation work. seb26 [talk] 22:01, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

Cleanup @ {{Set}}

Care to be a bit more specific? =/ -Shine[] 19:25, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

Heh funny, anyway, it was very messy before. The categories that it was adding were dupes and some parts of it would only work on English pages. Everything has been kind of ironed out now. seb26 [talk] 21:01, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

Your template skills are demanded

Hai seb, could you look at the todo I put on Template talk:Blueprint? Nothing very heavy but I tried and messed it up... Thanks :3 — Wind 04:47, 13 October 2010 (UTC)

Template:w vs Wikipedia: links

Hai seb, is the {{w}} template meant to replace [[Wikipedia:lang:ArticleName]] links? Because right now WindBOT replaces all [http://somelang.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somearticle Articlelol] by [[Wikipedia:somelang:Somearticle|Articlelol]]. Should it use the template instead? — Wind 15:47, 13 October 2010 (UTC)

Well it can't replace it, but it's certainly easier to type {{w|Team Fortress 2}} than to type Team Fortress 2. It'd be good if you could set that up. seb26 [talk] 20:25, 13 October 2010 (UTC)

Updating {{ref}}

Hey Seb, any chance you can update the {{ref}} template? I'm not all that good with the switch statement, which is basically required to make it work (because it's already in use on several pages). What I had in mind was:

{{ref
| title = source title
| anchor = anchor
| author = authorname
| source = http://source.tld/page
| date = date posted (yyyy-mm-dd)
| retrieved = date retrieved/checked (yyyy-mm-dd)
}}

Which produces: <ref anchor="anchor">''authorname'', [http://source.tld/page source title] (date posted), retrieved date retrieved/checked.</ref>

Anything you could look at? ~ lhavelund (talkcontrib) 00:12, 18 October 2010 (UTC)

It's a good idea but I don't really feel like coding it all. I will see there if there is a standalone template on Wikipedia that we might be able to adapt, so <ref>{{template here}}</ref> could be used instead. seb26 [talk] 04:38, 18 October 2010 (UTC)

Re: ~www~

Hi, I'm ~www~

Sorry, I have no time today, I cannot use computer too long today :(

But I can deal with templates tomorrow.

Sorry again. by ~www~

ps.I'm not sure what you want me to do with the Quotation template...is the part of the link should be Chinese?

Ok,got it.

Whoops sorry

I accidentally uploaded an undesired img. Besides, even if it is not high-res, the image is too small for people to notice. The Engineer 10:05, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, but now I have encountered another problem, hope you can listen to it :|

Some of the contributers want to translate the stuff into official Chinese form (Steam Chinese style)

They said this is for the convenience to make others understand what they are talking about

But we ,the first contributers (including me), decided to create new nouns which are pretty different from officials(cause it will sound more beautiful and fluent than

the officials, you know ,the officials' translation is pretty odd.)

Now, we are in a big discussion . Anyway...

do you know, is there any possible ,that wiki translation can replace the official one? I may have some points to convince those contributers.

It would be useful to hear the suggestion from you.
