Strangifier 1 - 100 Used to apply strange qualities to specific items. This Strangifier can be applied to X. If X is Normal quality, it will be upgraded to Strange quality. This is a limited use item. Uses: 1

A Strangifier is an item introduced in the August 27, 2013 Patch. You can get a Strangifier by fulfilling the requirements of a Chemistry Set. When completed, the Chemistry Set will drop a Strangifier of the type indicated by the Chemistry Set. Strangifiers can be used in the same fashion as Paint and Bacon Grease: Using the item will allow the user to choose which item they want to use it with. Upon confirmation, the Strangifier will be used and the item will be made into Strange quality.

Strange Hats

Strangifiers dropped from Chemistry Sets will upgrade Hats to Strange quality. Strange hats count points earned on the leader board while wearing the hat.[1]

Strange Weapons

Strangifiers can also be applied to certain weapons, such as the Pomson 6000. Upgrading it to Strange quality will make it like any other Strange weapon, tracking kills.
