MajorToms

How'd you find him and how do you know it is him for sure? Thanks though. – Smashman (talk) 12:31, 26 June 2013 (PDT)

We had the item id/serial of his pin on that page, and that tf2items.com page you linked me to had a list of the item ids. I search for the item id from the wiki, and found it matched up to one on that page. His Polycount account and his Steam account both say they're in Canada as well. I also found six other accounts missing, and I found three other people thanks to a page on the Polycount forums, I just can't seem to find any associated Steam accounts to those three. I just wanted to mention it to you in case you wanted to see the accounts before I added what I found to the pages. --Omolong (talk) 12:40, 26 June 2013 (PDT)
Real life Sherlock Holmes up in here! :) Everyone have their packs listed at the moment, but we probably should list as many as possible. If you could find out which packs they made, that'd be great. If you can't be bothered, I can do it next week. Cheers again, Sherlock. – Smashman (talk) 12:58, 26 June 2013 (PDT)
All but two of the accounts I found had packs, and it looks like both of them are moderators or administrators on Polycount anyway. --Omolong (talk) 13:06, 26 June 2013 (PDT)
Excellent work! Thank you. Feel free to stick them in. :) – Smashman (talk) 13:08, 26 June 2013 (PDT)

Item icons

Please note that item icons must be at resolution 512 × 384. Thank you. – Smashman (talk) 13:39, 11 July 2013 (PDT)

Yeah, I realized that after I uploaded them. I've gone and corrected the sizes on my side now, so would it be alright to upload these versions? --Omolong (talk) 13:41, 11 July 2013 (PDT)
I have already fixed them. – Smashman (talk) 13:42, 11 July 2013 (PDT)
Wait, I have only fixed a few. Feel free to fix the rest. – Smashman (talk) 13:43, 11 July 2013 (PDT)
Alright, I'll do it! I apologize for the error, though. I didn't know about the size until after I uploaded them all. --Omolong (talk) 14:34, 11 July 2013 (PDT)

Oh, sweet, thanks for that! --Omolong (talk) 19:31, 18 July 2013 (PDT)

Thanks and question

How can I check is item is paintable or not? I'm kinda a little bit lost. Thnak you for your advice :3 Goora (talk) 11:32, 27 July 2013 (PDT)

If you go into the Mann Co Catalog, and look through it for your item, it will say which tools can be used on it, like Name Tags, Description Tags and so on. If there is something called Paint Can in amongst that, then that item is paintable. If not, then it's not paintable. Another way to do it would be to look through the schema for it, but that's a bit more awkward. Though, it doesn't rely on the item server being up, which the Catalog does. --Omolong (talk) 11:36, 27 July 2013 (PDT)

Pictures

How do you get those pictures? Wetro (talk) 09:57, 28 August 2013 (PDT)

I use Half Life Model Viewer for it. This page and the links on it should help. --Omolong (talk) 10:01, 28 August 2013 (PDT)
