Australium Weapons are a rare kind of weapon built from the material of the same name. They can only be obtained through very specific means, such as random craft (Golden Wrench), winning a Saxxy awards category (Saxxy), or by random drop upon completing the Mann vs. Machine Two Cities tour.

Australium was originally used in the creation of two rare weapon variations, both of which are few in number and only obtainable by very difficult means. Carrying a custom golden skin, the weapons also cause unique kills, turning killed enemies into a golden statue instead of the standard ragdoll. This leaves behind a unique corpse for others to see.

As of the Two Cities Update, Australium weapons were expanded to a small range of rare weapons, all which are obtainable through completing a Tour of Duty on the Mannhattan and Rottenburg maps.
