Could you change the link that reads [http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Notifications MediaWiki Echo notification system] to [[w:mw:Help:Notifications|MediaWiki Echo notification system]]? It would remove the external link icon. Darkid (|) 23:19, 17 December 2013 (PST)
- Done. —Moussekateer·talk 05:11, 18 December 2013 (PST)

Sorry for my mistake, I thought that the dictionary need to edit directly. I have not yet fully understood with redirections. Max 324 (talk) 21:54, 18 December 2013 (PST)

Using automate.py
When I run automate.py, a few questionable things happen:
- It asks me to overwrite regardless of the inputted name
- It closes HLMV at the beginning of execution
- It throws an error: "No such file or directory: targetimages\\openhlmv.png"
Darkid (Talk | Contribs) 07:30, 24 January 2014 (PST)
- It only asks you to overwrite if the destination directory for the images already exists. It closes HLMV at the beginning because it needs to set the rotation for the first screenshot, this is normal. And now I've just realized you should be using automatebeta.py which doesn't use target images anymore. I need to get round to cleaning up the files for this. —Moussekateer·talk 08:38, 24 January 2014 (PST)
- Should I hold off until you fix up automatebeta? Darkid (Talk | Contribs) 08:39, 24 January 2014 (PST)
- No, you can use it now. —Moussekateer·talk 08:40, 24 January 2014 (PST)

It can't find hlmv.exe. Are you sure you've got the right path to it? —Moussekateer·talk 14:46, 24 January 2014 (PST)

3D images with VMTs
I'm having trouble with the blue festive ambassador. Although I've defined the BlueVMT parameter, the code doesn't use it, and also doesn't crop the "blue" output. Ideas? Darkid (Talk | Contribs) 12:51, 17 February 2014 (PST)
- So you have
teamColours = True
andBLUVMTFile = 'path\to\blue\vmt'
? —Moussekateer·talk 12:59, 17 February 2014 (PST)- Yes. Darkid (Talk | Contribs) 17:45, 17 February 2014 (PST)
- Can you try copying the contents of the blu vmt file into the red file and seeing what happens when you refresh in hlmv? —Moussekateer·talk 17:49, 17 February 2014 (PST)
- Yes. Darkid (Talk | Contribs) 17:45, 17 February 2014 (PST)

3D images
Could you help me? I'm trying to make a 3D image to the wiki, but do not know how. I made the image in all positions and now i want to add to the wiki. How to combine them to create 3D? Max 324 (talk) 21:59, 22 February 2014 (PST)
- You need to be using the appropriate python script, which stiches at the end. Darkid (Talk | Contribs) 22:00, 22 February 2014 (PST)
- Hm... What should I do with this script? Max 324 (talk) 00:24, 23 February 2014 (PST)
- Run it with python. See the 'documentation' here. Darkid (Talk | Contribs) 12:06, 23 February 2014 (PST)
- Thanks for help, but I think I use another method. I will try to ask on the page about 3d models. Max 324 (talk) 19:51, 23 February 2014 (PST)
- What is the method you used? Because the 3D models are set up in a very specific way, that would be near impossible to do without the script. —Moussekateer·talk 19:59, 23 February 2014 (PST)
- In TFMV I set the specific starting position and each time changed the position of the camera (it changes every 15 degrees). Example here Max 324 (talk) 19:42, 24 February 2014 (PST)
- You must have a lot of patience then. But it would be a lot better for you to use the scripts. Your images don't have transparency, which makes batch cropping and stitching very difficult. If you look at an example finished image you can see what the final 3d image looks like when done properly. —Moussekateer·talk 20:06, 24 February 2014 (PST)
