"This item will be removed from the game on the July 9th, 2014."

The crafting recipe will be removed, yes, but I don't think the boxes that have already been crafted will also be removed. Is there some indication of that? Otherwise, I think this should be clarified in the article, because it would make no sense for the marketable boxes to expire. --Ricardo Rodriguez (talk) 04:11, 26 June 2014 (PDT)

I assume they'll do what they do to the old event crates. They'll disappear after the date upon launching TF2. That's my guess. i think its just easier to wait until they actually disappear to make note of this. Ashes (talk) 08:28, 26 June 2014 (PDT)
Old crates are no longer disappearing, it will just change the discription of the crate what you cant open it.--O'Nyxon McRunner (talk) 14:01, 29 June 2014 (PDT)

Untradeable

It is worth noting that if you use untradeable items to craft a bread box the items inside the bread box will still be tradeable. That is to say when you craft a Bread Box with untradeable items you will get a warning that what you craft will be untradeable and the box will be marked as untradeable, however when you open the box the item you receive from the box will not be marked as untradeable.

Not all untradeable items, crafting won't let me use the several disappointing, nasty, untradeable 2013 Halloween hats -- first thing I tied (yes, there were some great ones, but, yeesh!). Point is, it would take more research. Mikado282 (talk) 17:50, 27 June 2014 (PDT)

Mann Co Key

Do we need to add that the box/crate didn't require any key once made? or is that going over board? The preceding unsigned comment was added by The Mighty Anus (talk) • (contribs)

Redundant as its clearly obvious it required no key. Ashes (talk) 11:43, 22 September 2014 (PDT)
