The Chieftain's Challenge is a community-created headwear item for the Soldier. It appears as a stereotypical Native American war bonnet.
Trivia
- A traditional headdress of Native Americans was made from eagle feathers. Feathers could be earned through great achievements in war, thus those who had earned enough to make a full headdress were very skilled in battle.
- Indians believed, that the person wearing the war bonnet from eagle feathers, could not afraid of arrows and bullets and had a magic protection of the eagle.
- It's one of the five hats, which has a TF2 logo on itself. First one is Glengarry Bonnet, second is Wiki Cap, third is Heavy Duty Rag and the fourth is Sergeant's Drill Hat
