The Batter's Helmet is a headwear item for the Scout. It appears as a team-coloured, fibreglass Template:W with a single ear-guard that fits over the Scout's regular hat.

Trivia
- The left ear is covered for right-handed batters and the right ear for left-handed batters, whichever ear faces the pitcher. Since the Scout is a right-handed batter, he would seem to be wearing the wrong sided helmet. However, this could be because the Scout already wears the headset on his left ear.
- Baseball players were not necessarily compelled to wear helmets until 1971 when they were made mandatory in the major leagues.
