This template lists released Team Fortress 2 maps.

Sorting

There are three layers of sorting in this list; by date order of release of the game mode, alphabetical order within game modes, and alphabetical for recently released maps (of any mode) set at the top of the group.

• The first layer of general sorting is by game mode, from the earliest to most recent release date.
  • Note: later released Control Point variants are arranged in groups underneath the Control Point list.
  • This is the sorting demonstrated in Template:Map types (new game modes are added to the bottom of the Map types list).
• The second layer of general sorting is by alphabetical order of map name within each game mode.
• Newly-released maps from a recent Update are added to the top of the list, sorted in alphabetical order by the name of the map.
  • This placement is for the convenience of users, editors, and reviewers.
  • The new maps may be kept at the top of the list through the duration of the Event or for at least a month, before they are sorted into the list.
