Hello fellas

Hey guys, I'm Underboss, and I'm new around here. I added the terms 'Fat Spy' and 'Brony' to the Glossary of Player Terms page, and I think I did it all right, but you guys can do whatever you please to my edits.

Halocaust or Halo-caust?

I'm pretty sure I usually see it spelled without a hyphen on the steam forums. Should the hyphen be removed or just slash it together with the alternative spelling? Ailure 20:42, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

cleaners arrived

I think the definitions of "pit" and "rage" are clear, shall I remove the notice? Super Prototype... not so super. 09:12, 17 April 2013 (PDT)

Removing Airblast

I don't think "airblast" can be considered slang, given how many official sources use the word "airblast", including the backburner's description, the June 25, 2009 Patch; the August 31, 2009 Patch; the December 17, 2009 Patch; the April 28, 2010 Patch; the December 17, 2010 Patch; the April 14, 2011 Patch; the April 18, 2012 Patch; and the December 20, 2012 Patch. Should I remove "airblast" but keep "AB"? Wamesy (talk) 19:19, 17 March 2014 (PDT)

Slang Terms for Locations

I noticed that there were some terms describing map locations, such as the "House" on Gravel Pit and the "Tower" on Gravel Pit/Hightower. I removed these terms because there are dozens of locations on every map with suck nicknames, some nicknames can refer to different things on different maps, and different players use different nicknames. Having such terms on this page is a bad precedent, since they could clutter the page. However, a catalogue of such terms could be quite useful to new competitive players. I think it might be a good idea to include them on the wiki, but on their own separate page. Actually, I believe some map strategy pages make use of the terms, so keeping those up-to-date would probably serve the same purpose even better. Leadfoot9 (talk) 10:38, 28 June 2014 (PDT)

Glossary update and Trading terminology

I've spent about half the day looking through the glossary and realized that a lot of newer, more common player terms haven't been added, such as "Trolldier" and the new type of "Ninjaneer" that uses the Eureka Effect. While I'm at it adding and editing some of these terms, I also added a whole Trading terminology section, as several players have come to me saying it'd be a great help to have a glossary to help them out. Going to be doing a huge update here. Archrelico "Mexi" 00:28, 10 April 2016 (PDT)

Should this term be added?

Meming - the act of a player using weapons that they know are not good but uses them anyway for a wide variety of reasons, mainly to have fun.

Dio-ZX (talk) 08:56, 11 November 2017 (PST)

I will disagree, because there is no TF2-specific meaning for "Memeing". It's slang used plenty outside the context of video games. -- InShane (talk) 15:21, 14 November 2017 (PST)

Where is the Sc*nt?

It's a pretty big stereotype, basically unavoiadable. But why isn't it in here?

Years ago, the glossary had all the derogatory terms with all the family-unfriendly language. It has since been cleaned. -- InShane (talk) 04:25, 4 February 2018 (UTC)

"Pipe Jesus" - good term to be added?

I've occasionally seen people call someone a pipe Jesus, either when, as Demoman, they connect some really tough pipes, or just miss a stationary target four times.

IMO the term is common enough to be added into the list.

Hi guys

I removed crocket off of the player terms due to the fact that Crocket is an official line said by the soldier when he gets a crocket kill. Should this be reverted?
