A bug listing states: "If you switch to the Degreaser right after having shot a flare, the Flare Gun won't be able to shoot immediately. It takes as much time as it would take to reload the Flare Gun, though no animation whatsoever is played during this span of time." I may be misunderstanding what is being said, but in my experience the bug refers to the Degreaser not being able to fire for a brief period of time following the switch, not the flaregun.
