Translating template

If you want to translate the template, you need to create a new page, example:
For Template:Class_Nav:

不會有非必需的空格，撰寫中文時會固定使用全形標點符號。
有時因顧及排版美觀可能會加入原文沒有的強制換行。

Templates

Hi ~www~. Since you are online I figured I would link you to a few templates that are lacking Chinese translation.

  • {{Quotation}} – this template is used frequently, however, it is missing translation for the "Click to listen" part of the text.
  • {{Painted variants}} – this stores the translations for the different types of Paint Cans.

You can do these whenever it is best for you. As for the quotation template, only the words themselves for "Click to listen" in Chinese need to be added. These do not have to be done straight away, they can be done any time. seb26 [talk] 11:00, 21 October 2010 (UTC)

but the template's font and size doesn't really fit the Chinese character, too squeezy and barely readable without textzoom,

官方的翻法

希望能用官方的翻譯名稱，以減少歧見

老實說我在處理時真的碰到了不少麻煩，希望能幫我通知其他人^^

這樣我覺得很矛盾

這個wiki本來便是希望能讓所有TF2玩家來瀏覽並尋找想關資訊

而大部分玩家使用的仍是官方的繁中化

如果來了wiki卻不知道名稱所指的物品，那麼這必定會有困惑產生

而TF2的繁中化仍然持續在進行

我之所以這幾個月突然停頓這裡的工作

一方面是高三的學業

另一方面是我也開試嘗試加入Steam translation server(像鉚釘在我嘗試之前就已經加入了)

雖然仍在beta中，但已經有一群有熱心的人不停的在更新STEAM釋出的遊戲更新內容

回到原題，所以我希望能源用原本的翻譯名稱，以減少歧見:)

先講舊名稱好了，舊名稱很久就深植人心，也就是大家常用的說法，那大多數的名稱也沒有問題

最大的問題應該是發生在翻譯公司不再處理之後，所有更新翻譯頓時變成引擎翻譯法(像是:為什麼不打他?)

所以才衍生出不少錯誤，那Valve改用一群免錢義工(就是上面我提供的網站)

我也是裡面的moderator其中之一，大部分的錯誤都已經修正好了，而帽子、武器名字都已經更新上去了

並不是說你翻得不好(事實上你很厲害，像是蘇斯博士的高塔帽你也有深入了解呢!)

而是玩家來wiki便是要了解相關資訊，所以我認為用他們常接觸的名稱比較妥當

而人物名字則是沿用原本英文名，所以像Radigan Conagher、Mann Co.、Zephaniah...等都是用原本英文名字

更新的部分都已經完全翻譯好了，像是新武器、新帽子、油漆都已經有名稱(不過大部分不是我命名的，因為我加入的有點晚...)

另外如果想幫忙翻譯的話，也歡迎到Steam Translation Server試試看，也可以用網頁底下的Email直接連絡他們詢問相關事項。

最後，很抱歉我這麼唐突的修改，只是因為這裡雖然有不少人幫忙(像是佑倫、阿SIR..)，可是名字卻常常不一，像是抓狂牛奶、瘋狂牛奶...劍脊豪豬盾、野豬盾

如果名稱那麼多，不如統一讓之後要幫忙的人也比較了解情況。

First off, I did not name any of the hats/weapon, they are done by some old translator here,

I respect their work, so I only translated the trivia and descriptions.


Well, basically you are saying that because you guys joined the steam translation site,

which not everyone can access without subscribing(like me),

makes the translations you guys made "official".

I don't belong there, and i don't go to 巴哈/台論 either, so maybe something has be going on.

I understand that if valve wants to group up some translators,

and it's up to you guys to decide whether a translation is "official" or not,

but I don't think that granted you the right to just come in and redone all the work made by the other people by just a few click before even asking or discussing?

I am quite sure even in the same forum, people have different names to call the item,

in fact a lot of the old names sound righteous and funny, and they absolutely spent quite a few time in it,

then why not just adapt some of the old names, and make it "official"/"unified" which you guys are capable to do so?


just some personal thoughts, and again I don't really mind if you guys come up with other translations since I take no credit for them.

don't get offended if I sound offensive.

有很多聽起來很怪是真的，不過很多都是沿用舊的

我們只有修正非常不合理的地方

以我目前所知，有自己更新新名稱的只有MANN CO.的更新(這部分有錯誤的地方還煩請指正)

其實我也和你一樣能用的時間不長，所以MANN CO.那段時間我選擇轉去那個網站(不過去的有點晚

另外.....武器沒改就是因為我時間不多 QQ

不過我發現我最大的錯誤就是擅自更改而沒有經過你們的同意，這點真的很抱歉

所以如果真的有不合理的地方，或者你們認為你們原本的想法比較好

通知我，我會盡力呈報上去

昨天在Steam Tranlstion Server的更新內容快搞死我了....

突然新增了兩大頁內容要我翻..

how's it going?

finally some free(and boring) time to spend.

I tried to ask the translation server guys about what they have already translated, but never got a reply..

guess i will keep working and hope it's not overlapping :/

anyway, there is a funny problem I came up with, the pyro's dialogue in old Guadalajara is like "mmmh mmh mmp mmmmmmph mppppphhhh"

should I just leave it in English or use the chinese version I came up with?

官方繁體武器名稱清單

我已經在我的頁面中打上官方正式繁體武器名稱清單，編寫時就不用特別進遊戲裡去看了，希望有幫助。 頭飾的官方翻譯有時間會在打上去。

Please keep discussions started on your talk page on your talk page. It makes it much easier for both parties to keep track of. I suggest creating a subpage in your user namespace, doing the translation, then moving it to the main namespace if needed.
