The One-Way Ticket is a community-created cosmetic item for all classes. It is a dead version of Little Buddy, a torn sailor's hat with the addition of a seemingly Chinese paper talisman for binding the undead, which happens to be the size an shape of a passenger ticket. As such, it is a satire of the Cadaver's Capper released in the same Update.
This item can only be worn around Halloween or during a Full Moon; at other times of the year, it does not appear in gameplay, unless the server has Halloween mode enabled. However, it can be equipped at any time and can still be viewed on the loadout screen even when it is not visible during games.
The One-Way Ticket was contributed to the Steam Workshop.

Trivia
- The idiom "one-way ticket" means a trip from which one never returns, say, from a remote desert island, or, with the application of the correct ticket-shaped Chinese talisman, from death.
- This shape of hat and type of talisman are commonly associated with Jiangshi(Chinese character "僵尸"), or "Chinese Hopping Vampire".
- In the literal sense of the word in Chinese, "Jiangshi" is more like "Zombie". "Hopping Vampire" is a nickname given by westerners, according to the way Jiangshi moves and the blood-sucking behaviour which is similar to vampires'.
- Jiangshi is usually depicted in the uniform and hat of Qing Dynasty officials, and the hat is similar to the sailor hat of this item.

- The talisman, which is called "Zhen Shi Fu" (literally translated as "Anti-Jiangshi talisman") in Chinese, is a type of Fulu mostly made by Taoists to prevent Jiangshi from moving or waking.
- The characters on the talisman read "Dead Buddy" when translated (hence the submitted name, "The Stiff Buddy;" the Chinese character 死 can mean "dead" or "rigid").
- However, "Dead Buddy" doesn't exist in any type of "Zhen Shi Fu". And the talisman should be attached to forehead instead of hat.
