Night of the Living Update-otsikkokortti.

Night of the Living Update on epävirallinen fanipäivitys, joka sisältää yli 90 esinettä ja 10 Halloween-teemaista karttaa. Tämä päivitys noudattaa päivä-päivältä julkaisutyyliä jota monet viralliset päivitykset sekä Fancy vs. Nasty-päivitys ja Medieval Update käyttävät.

• In the 2011 update, several unofficial names are given. However, both NOTLU are Community updates, meaning the officiality of these names and the gender and nationality of Pyro is still up for debate. Indeed, parts of some of these names have been invalidated by the official TF2 comics.
  • Heavy's name was given as Ivan "Ivan" Ivanov - A Cold Day in Hell reveals his given name is Mikhail, and his nickname is Misha.
  • Scout's name was given as Chip Runfast - The Naked and the Dead reveals his given name is Jeremy.
  • Spy's name was given as McFrance.
  • Medic's name was given as Josef Heilburger - The Naked and the Dead reveals his surnames is Ludwig.
  • Pyro's name was given as Macarena Delgado, and they are stated as being a Mexican woman.
