Irrelvant trivia

On the page for the combustible kabuto the trivia is irrelavant because its about the workshop name. could someone please delete that? thanks, i'd do it myself but im busy at the moment.

In the "Did you know..." section the second entry is a listing about the venus symbol being in the Meet the Pyro video. The link to the Wikipedia page goes to a page on women. Adding Robot Responses and Taunts

All voice responses have a filter applied on them in-game to sound robotic-like, which means doing this for all of them wouldn't be helpful. As for the robot taunts... that's not a bad idea. Smissmas 2012

So the smissmas is coming, and VALVe released an article about it (The update page). The page tells about the new MvM map and a boss robot, Mecha-Engineer. It also contains 3 new weapons ("Rescue ranger" for engi, "The loose cannon" for demo and "The vaccinator" for medic) and a postcard with "Season greetings" written on the upper left corner. On the postcard there are all nine classes with a reindeer antlers, except pyro, scout and sniper. The Spy and the Demoman have a christmas ornament badge (forgot the name of the ornament), the Spy is also wearing shoulderpads much like the Fancy dress uniform, The hat that scout is wearing, is a lot like "Ye olde baker boy", but with earmuffs. Both the sniper's and pyro's hats look like ski masks. Balloonicorn has a new reindeer-like skin. The classes are all holding the new festive weapons, from left to right: Axtinguisher(pyro), ???(demo, the gun is not visible), Ubersaw(medic), Frontier justice(engineer), Huntsman(sniper), Ambassador(spy), Sandwich(? heavy is holding a triangular package, the same shape that sandwich has), Holy mackerel(scout) and Buff banner(soldier). Trivia statement incorrect.

In the trivia section it said that, a Pyro flamethrower named Wrath of Wan Hu would have been part of the Triad Pack, but was replaced by the Huo Long Heater It has been stated by the author of this weapon that it was not a replacement and simply that square enix was monitoring there weapons to which they added, and decided not to add the weapon.--hj 06:03, 4 January 2013 (PST)

Unofficial TF2 project page

Characters in the comics

I was thinking, should we have a section on the playable characters page to explain their roles in the official comics so far and which comics they appear in? It makes sense to me. Or, have a separate page for the characters as they appear in the comics, since that's what a lot of superhero wikis and wikis dealing with multiple universes or canons tend to do. --PyroGothNerd (talk) 10:52, 23 December 2013 (PST)

Help:Style guide/Weapons has a comprehensive list of information on how to create new articles for weapons (and hats share similar layouts, so you can use it for both). Being the TF2 beta is completely defunct these days I think we should replace the link with something else. Having historical articles on it makes sense, it being important enough to have on our frontpage doesn't in my opinion. My suggestion would be a Major Updates link. There is no "All class cosmetics" page?

I was looking at the cosmetic items of the classes and noticed the List of All class cosmetics page is completely empty. I thought that maybe the page linked on the Cosmetic items page was not correct and there was a correct page elsewhere but when I googled this, it was the only page that appeared other than the obviously outdated tf2wiki's page (found here). I'm not sure if we have never had an all class cosmetic page or if it was deleted when it was last modified over a year ago, but we shouldn't ignore the hats that can be worn by every class considering we are the wiki of the one and only hat simulator for crying out loud...

Just so you know I am completely new to the wiki and wiki editing for that matter but I might try creating/fixing the page myself if no else is up to it. I have been a fan of you guys' hard work for years and I'm surprised I haven't joined the wiki sooner. Midlight (talk) 10:04, 21 July 2014 (PDT)

The https://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Main_Page/zh-hant page has a patches section instead of weapons in the Index. Also, Trading is in the wrong spot.

The main page says "(3 days ago)" and "(2 days ago)", respectively. Maybe there is a problem with your cache or something?.

Outdated

There are two things that seem to bug me, and those things are the Featured Article & Did You Know... sections. The Engineer Update was featured for a couple months (I think), and the Did You Know... section should have new content as well. I second that. The featured article is over a year old and well overdue for a change. There are several more "Did You Know?" to be shown, and some will never be shown for years at this rate. Deleting Accounts

New featured article?

PASS Time should be featured on the front page.

Featured articles are only changed once in awhile and we only put what is nominated. PASS time isn't nominated to be a featured article and since it just came out of Beta,

Fix language tab on right side menu

Are we unable to have Collapsible elements?

We indeed have collapsible elements, look no further than the table at the top of this very page. I think there's not much more to it than just adding a 'collapsible' class to the table, something like {| class="wikitable collapsible" .... { TidB | t | c } 06:20, 30 October 2017 (PDT)

Adding New Content

Is it me, or has the Main Page stayed the same for a while now. I feel like we should change the featured article from the Gunslinger to something else. It has been the Featured Article for a long time. Change it to a weekly featured article. Also, if possible maybe we can add a monthly/weekly poll for users to use, so we can see their TF2 info and help the users get more involved in the Wiki. One final idea is to have the Team Fortress 2 page put on the index of the Main Page. If anyone has more ideas, add them to the bottom, we can make some great contributions to the Wiki this way!
