I added a template for people to show hats they previously had. If everyone's okay with it, all we need to do is add the icon into the key for people to know what it means.--Piemanmoo 19:42, 5 July 2010 (UTC)

Hidden by default

Is there an option to show this template hidden by default? When the user decides to see it,he just have to click Show.If there isn't such an option,it would be cool to have. Also the same for the weapon checklist. --- User Mitko1239 Soldiertinpan.png Mitko1239 (Talk page) --- 18:16, 22 September 2010 (UTC)

Enhancement Idea

Allowing the user to be able to indicate a quantity for each hat would be niffty! Nooch 11:38, 12 October 2010 (UTC)

I'd be in favor of this. Another possible edition is vintage status.--Jordan 02:34, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
You could indicate Vintage status with different color check marks. Blue check mark could indicate Vintage; Yellow check mark would indicate non-Vintage; then Green check mark would indicate possessing both Vintage and non-Vintage of that item. Nooch 20:12, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
Pictogram cross.png Meh Am I alone in thinking that being able to indicate possession of multiple versions of the same type of hat is a little over-the-top? I'm all for displaying whether a hat is vintage/unusual/normal (checkmark + V/U), but noting copies seems weird. ::Scurve User scurve monkey sm.gif:: 23:17, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

Collapsable

Should this template be collapsed by default? It's currently very large. I propose that we have two templates, this one (the main one) would be collapsed by default while an alternate one would be uncollapsed for those who wish to always display their hats. the same thing would apply for the weapons checklist. I've got a test checklist here (Yes, it messes with my images, be quiet)--Firestorm 19:53, 8 November 2010 (UTC)

Pictogram tick.png Yes That checklist is so massive that it's almost a chore to scroll past. The worst is when people put it at the top of their page. Collapse the sucker! -- Alex2539 - (talk | contribs) -- 19:55, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
Pictogram tick.png Yes I personally don't see much use of it in the first place. --CruelCow (talk) 19:57, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
Pictogram tick.png Yes Hidden by default would be lovely. I don't know loads about the wiki code, but do we need two templates for that? Couldn't we just add a variable that allows the user to make theirs hidden by default? "|hidden=yes" ::Scurve User scurve monkey sm.gif:: 23:17, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

Treasure hunt hats

There seems to be a slight bug with them : no matter what I precise (in my case, "no"), they show up as "obtained" on my checklist. HunterCham 11:09, 8 December 2010 (UTC)

Pictogram comment.png Fixed Should work now. use all lower case letters Nooch 13:28, 8 December 2010 (UTC)

Now a new problem: if you type the lower case item's name, it won't work. Try "treasure hunt hat=yes" for yourself. I also tried to write the individual names of each hat with no success. BadDog 02:58, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

Glitch

First, for whatever reason, the checklist was wiped for me mostly, yet the hats still say yes, had, etc in edit mode, second, since you can't see pyro's last hat, should we make the table smaller? --EvilDeadFan Pyro Blue Big.jpg 03:24, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

Okay, apparently, all the parameters got changed by user Fishfingers, probably to prevent confusion. I've been forced to change the documentation in response. Will this be a revert, then? --Superslinger2007 05:44, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
