Help talk:Style guide/A-Z
minor edit,
hi im a new member with a fairly high intelligence. It seems a bit silly to say pin number as the acronym pin itself is personal identification number, would it seem better to put that in brackets behind the acronym? — The preceding unsigned comment was added by BruceLeeBaby (talk) • (contribs) 08:18, 15 March 2011
Learned vs Learnt
This guide makes it seem as if "learnt" is an old English word, but (according to my Google search) "learnt" is preferred everywhere but NA. I personally think we should switch from using AE to BE, as one of them is spoken in a very limited region while the other is a more global language (At least, according to my Google searches). It's the same reason why I've been changing units of measurement from imperial to metric wherever I can (Putting imperial, and if it was there before, and Hammer Units in the tooltip). I'm sure not everyone will agree on switching entirely, but I think the "learned" part should at least be omitted from the page.
