Hello, Electro spaz!
Welcome to the Team Fortress 2 Official Wiki!
Here are a few links to get you started:
- If you're not too familiar with editing wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
- If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style guide.
- Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
- To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the "Summary" field before you save your changes.
- You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
- When posting on an article's Talk page you should add four tilde symbols or ~~~~ onto the end.
- This will add a signature and timestamp to your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
- Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
- When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
- You can use the button in the editing toolbar to quickly add a signature.
- If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for a staff member.
- If you have trouble with anything on the wiki or you're not sure about a specific topic, feel free to join the IRC.
- You can also customize your user page if you like.
- When uploading images for use on your user page, please add the prefix User Electro spaz to the file's name.
- Additionally, if you would like to add any self-made content to the wiki, please do so by adding the prefix User:Electro spaz/ to the page title when you create the page.
Once again, welcome to the Team Fortress 2 Wiki!

Show preview
Greetings. Please keep in mind that all edits are shown under the Recent changes and posted in our IRC channel in real time. As of right now, you've been cluttering both the Recent changes and IRC with unnecessary edits, which make monitoring difficult for us and leaves out focus on more important edits. By using the Show preview feature, you'll be able to check your edits prior to saving them and should be used as often as possible to minimize redundant edits. Also, you can edit the whole article by clicking the Edit button at the top of the page, which is preferable to editing multiple sections consecutively. If you need help on wiki formatting, then please check out our Help section. Thanks! · Ashe (talk) 05:12, April 26, 2021 (UTC)
Please make use of the Show preview button. It gives you a preview of the edit you are making, allowing you to perfect your changes before you save the page. You can edit the whole article by clicking the edit button at the top of the page, which is preferable to editing multiple sections consecutively. · Ashe (talk) 05:26, 18 May 2021 (UTC)
Bugs/Glitches/Exploits etc
Please, every time you want to add a bug/glitch/exploit to an article, provide a source of the bug/glitch etc in the form of a Youtube video in the edit summary · Ashe (talk) 02:27, 20 May 2021 (UTC)

Linking cheats in an edit summary
I don't know why you thought it was okay, but absolutely never link to a cheat website or forum anywhere on the wiki. This is strictly forbidden and will result in a block.
GrampaSwood (talk) 09:46, 18 September 2021 (UTC)
- Wait, how else do i cite the source? or do i not cite it at all? Electro spaz (talk) 00:04, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
- On a side note, is citing github okay?Electro spaz (talk) 00:07, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
- Hi, great question actually.
- Since this kind of edit is quite rare and making you join IRC for every little detail would be quite troublesome, I'll allow you to link them in the edit summary. Of course I'll hide it once someone verifies the information.
- Is that okay for both of you?
- As for GitHub links, as long as you're not linking to leaked Valve code or cheat code, it's also okay. — Tark lm(pt-br) 17:57, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
