A Killstreak Weapon is a weapon that has the killstreak upgrade applied. It counts the kills made using the weapon in question as well as rises the value of it. To apply a killstreak to a weapon, use the Killstreak Kit. Killstreak weapons also have a Sheen, wich changes the appearance of the weapon. Bugs

There are various bugs with the killstreak upgrade. A common example of it is applying a killstreak to an item that isn't a weapon (Hats, Paint cans, other). They're a rare occurrence, that's why their value on the steam market is so high.
