Happy Smissmas 202x!

All players who play TF2 during the event will receive a Stuffed Stocking as a gift! Stockings contain goodies for good little Mercenaries.

• Featuring 5 new community maps: Christmas Turbine, Hacksaw, Snowlodge, Cashworks, and Bagel.
• Added the Winter 202x Cosmetic Case
  • Contains 20 new community-contributed items
  • The Festivizer can be found as a bonus drop when opening the case
• Added the Winter 202x War Paint Case
  • Contains 12 new community-created War Paints that make-up the Winter 202x Collection.
  • Has a chance to give a taunt Unusualifier as a bonus item.
• Added 3 new community-contributed taunts to the Mann Co. Store.
  • Taunt: Mann's Best Friend
  • Taunt: Battle Break
  • Taunt: Slick Crookster
• Added 7 new community-created Unusual effects.
  • 4 new effects for Unusual hats
  • 3 new effects for Unusual taunts
• All cosmetic and taunt cases will grant Smissmas 202x Unusual effects instead of their normal Unusual effects during the event. This does not include crates.
• Mann Co. Store winter sale!
• Smissmas runs through January 9th, 202x.

General

• Fixed exploit with Fists of Steel charging Über faster.
• Fixed exploit where players can kill teammates with a Pumpkin Bomb with the Short Circuit.
• Fixed exploit where players can see a cloaked spy with "record spy;stop".
• Fixed bug where sticky bombs don't leave explosion decals when detonated manually.
• Pumpkin bombs no longer detonate when hit with Sticky Jumper stickies.
• Updated Iron Bomber to use unique explosion sounds.
• Fixed Splendid Screen not appearing when inspecting in the backpack menu.
• Updated the Boo Balloon with fixes to jigglebones.
• Fixed Rocket Launcher and Sniper Rifle reload sounds not playing outside player's perspective.

  • Entire map has been rebuilt with new visuals, paths, and aesthetics.

  • Pyroland textures have now been applied to the map when equipped with any Pyroland items.

Undocumented changes

• Updated "Scotch Tap" achievement description.
• Updated "Shorn Connery" achievement to be obtainable with taunt kills.
• Updated "Glasg0wned" achievement to count kills from all Demoman's Grenade Launcher primaries with the exception of the Sticky Jumper.
• Updated "Robbed Royal" achievement description.
• Fixed "Jackpot!" achievement sometimes not counting points when winning a round.
• Fixed mouse not highlighting correct players usernames in scoreboard when mouse movement is enabled.
• Added Map stamps and Strange filters for Frosty, Coldlands, Snowlodge, Cashworks, and Bagel.
• Added Strangifier tool for Dragon's Fury.
