The Summer Starter Kit is an action item. It is represented by a backpack held together by four straps that has a Name Tag, two Mann Co. Supply Crate Keys, three Huntsman arrows, and a Description Tag with the Steam logo, along with an object with a Description Tag with a question mark and two presents, a pink one with a red ribbon and a purple one with green polka dots and a pink ribbon, each with a Description Tag with a question mark.
When used, the player receives a Backpack Expander, a Name Tag or Description Tag, and a random weapon.
The Summer Starter Kit was awarded by random chance to players when crafting badges during the Steam Summer Adventure 2014.
