BLU Team Variations (+ BLU Team Paints)

Due to the bug regarding the BLU Team's variation not working on BLU (the unpainted color and the edges of the mask are not blue in-game), should we remove the team-colors string from the page and temporarily re-make the BLU Paint Can variants to use the RED variant instead (RED edges of the mask)? It has been like a year and a half that this cosmetic has this problem. I wouldn't delete the BLU_ files, though, keep it there if Valve decides to fix it.

What I prupose is remaking the team-colored paints to use the edges of the RED team's mask, because that's how it looks in-game (including when you "backpack" inspect your own Particulate Protector or someone's else):

Here is a picture with the unpainted BLU version in-game, and another set of pictures using r_skin 1 (which shows how the cosmetic should look like if this bug didn't exist): https://imgur.com/a/2Kf38Np

I have the mask painted in Operator's Overalls, and I can confirm that the edges of the mask are still from the RED team when using team paint cans: https://imgur.com/a/0UVFSxs (It's a bit hard to see, but look at the edges of the mask not turning blue).

Right click on the images and click "Open image in a new tab" to enlarge the pictures, as well that it makes it easier to compare by switching back and forth the tabs.

The reason this bug exists is because there's no skin_red and skin_blu on the Item schema for the Particulate Protector, something that other team-colored items with styles have: https://imgur.com/a/KV1V4RN.

I would say yes, because that's how it looks IN-GAME. It's important to show how these appear in-game. The bug can perhaps be reworded too (not as an unused content, because the model still redirects to the _blue variant of the mask), perhaps adding an explanation that it's a problem on the schema that causes this. No Covid Trivia

I don't think it's a big deal to not mention it in the trivia section, but I was just curious which specific rule was being broken by mentioning Covid.

If you would want a rule for it, it would be the Obvious rule (maybe in 20 years it won't be as obvious anymore but everyone knows about the pandemic and face masks). But the fact that a face mask being a reference to face masks being worn in the Covid pandemic is a very weird trivia (and insensitive imo), because they were also worn during other pandemics (such as the Great Influenza epidemic). The Trivia would then become "this is a reference to face masks worn during pandemics", which is just explaining that face masks are used to prevent infectious diseases or viruses and is not good Trivia either.
