Subcategories per promotion
Some promotional events feature multiple items, I suggest we sub-categorise them into the promotional-event they're associated with.

- Neutral: Not sure what's wrong with the system we have now, a category for Bill's Hat (L4D2 Pre-order event) seems kinda unnecessary to me. -The Neotank ( | Talk) 01:41, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
- Support. That seems like a good idea, but only for items that are in a multi-promotional item event. That is, any one-off events like the Lumbricus Lid should not be placed in an event category and should remain in this one only. seb26 [talk] 06:06, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
- Support. Samll fry really you could also lump the one offs together under a one off (one hit wonder) section--Markd 12:24, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

Remove games from this category?
While the promotional items are acquired from the games listed in the category, the games themselves aren't really promotional items, and it's pretty much list cruft. Shouldn't we remove the games from this category, or at least create a new category for games with promotional items so they don't clutter up this one? ButteredToast 10:26, 11 October 2011 (PDT)
