Futureproofing
@Mouseketeer In the event of more ARGs taking place, how should these articles be structured? All described in this article, or belonging to a category? Vide0n 23:15, 21 June 2012 (PDT)
- That's something to worry about when, or if, we get to that road. But I do not oppose the article being moved to a better name if need be. —Moussekateer·talk 23:19, 21 June 2012 (PDT)
The link of 8th QR Code
Seemed to be a duplicate of #7?
- +1. Also no image for QR code 1 now :( --Genuine GAL 00:43, 22 June 2012 (PDT)
- As far as I know 7 and 8 point to the same URL. However I do not know if they have different QR codes as I cannot locate them. I also could not find QR code 1. —Moussekateer·talk 01:23, 22 June 2012 (PDT)
It probably doesn't matter, but bananas were apparently craftable before the day 3 update.
On the third day of the ARG, I booted up TF2 in the morning, and kept it open. Later that day, I saw that bananas were craftable, and produced a weird error, but when I went to craft them, it just said "Crafting successful!" with no errors. (And no new item produced)
I then restarted TF2 and it updated, thus allowing me to craft and receive the error like normal.

Text version of the image
I typed out the Saxton Hale Hearing Transcript. Thought it'd be useful to someone: http://pastebin.com/69zV7J6e — Darkwater 09:27, 22 June 2012 (PDT)
- Call me crazy, but could Poopy Joe and the Pyro be related somehow? Maybe Pyro IS Poopy Joe? He does have that snazzy Moonman Pack, at least...Pakaku 20:07, 22 June 2012 (PDT)
- Still, Pyro can be anything. Folks at the Deadwood Achievement server say that the Pyro could be a female alien, while on Railbait some of us say that the Pyro is Scout's mother. EMD SD90ACe 04:35, 23 June 2012 (PDT)
Pyro Post
If you place all the words over 3 letters as long sounds and the words with 3 letters or less as a short sound you get: -- --- -. -.. .- -.-- This is Monday in Morse Code. Perhaps a small clue. Also the "mph" (Last word of the first line) links directly to the movies page. Perhaps we could add these two facts in even if they're going to be trivia. Shamjam96 15:25, 22 June 2012 (PDT)
- This is already noted in the article. The 'mph' word link is just the image box overlapping the text. —Moussekateer·talk 15:30, 22 June 2012 (PDT)
- I am pretty sure I read somewhere there was another tie-up with SMNC - is it possible that "Monday" relates to Super Monday Night Combat? There was an update earlier not long before the blog update so there may be some egg hiding in there? Casperr 17:55, 22 June 2012 (PDT)
- Monday more likely relates to the day when "Meet the Pyro" will be released.Railden 15:42, 23 June 2012 (PDT)
Second Uber Update
Do any of you guys think that these minor updates could be hints to an eventual update explosion? That's what I think is going to happen. EMD SD90ACe 04:40, 23 June 2012 (PDT)
- Oh, please, they DO explode. Ed 04:46, 23 June 2012 (PDT)
- Maybe this time it would be supernova sized? EMD SD90ACe 15:00, 23 June 2012 (PDT)
- Supernova will be an understatement :D Pakaku 17:04, 24 June 2012 (PDT)

Regarding the Wiki Changes
Is there any specific reason why we are not to include the wiki changes into the ARG page? I understand its a "Joke" but are we really 100% sure that valve didn't ask them to do this? --{{SUBST:User:DeadflyProductions/Sig}} 08:31, 23 June 2012 (PDT)
- Done by the insane wiki guys, to make the wiki 100% less informative for people who dont get code. No valve job. TheDoctor 08:35, 23 June 2012 (PDT)
- Why do people never get that it's just a joke? ~Sven~ 17:30, 24 June 2012 (PDT)
Some details left out
I think it should be noted that the banana peel as well as the wallpaper links were not there earlier (only a floor was shown). Also it says "A page from the transcript" when you can see more pages by clicking on that page, is this new or just a mistake on behalf of the writer?
Mysterious Promo 5
Well, I get that it's not explicitly linked to Pyromania Update ARG, but the timing fits and I don't think there CAN be proof of them being related before it is released. Maybe we should add it and remove if it turns out to be a false lead? ShooterAndy 08:46, 26 June 2012 (PDT)
- If it's a false lead, you SHOULD remove it. - NameUser 08:47, 26 June 2012 (PDT)
- Well, it isn't known yet if it is a false lead or not, but if not than when it turns out to be true it will be too late to add that to the ARG, since it will be over. That's why I have this conundrum. ShooterAndy 08:56, 26 June 2012 (PDT)
M.V.M. Change on Tf2 official blog
Some people noticed that some classes on official tf2 blog are giving engineer weird looks. Can it be mentioned on this page as part of ARG?
P.S.: Those classes are: (possibly Sniper) Scout, Heaby and Spy. Also engie lost his smile. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Qror (talk) • (contributions)
- Nothing link at all. After Valve change from blog page with dove to this one, they look like that since that time. Hinaomi (talk) - (contributions) 10:34, 12 August 2012 (PDT)
Mann Co Robots
I was shuffling through youtube and someone posted a link to here; http://www.teamfortress.com/classless/hidden/populace/
I have no idea how it was accessed. --Protroid 11:46, 12 August 2012 (PDT)
- That was a hidden link in the Classless Update. There's no confirmation whether this is related to the ARG or not. – Epic Eric (T | C) 13:07, 12 August 2012 (PDT)
The title was all along the name...
..of the third team backwards. ARG | GRA
The GRA team is bound and around. I'm sure some people may have thought this out.

Forbidden Page tobor/
This is just an ordinary 403 Forbidden HTTP error message. What is interesting, however, is that it signifies that a tobor/ directory exists, but is not accessible to the public yet. It is probable that it is still being worked on and will go live eventually, or perhaps requires login credentials to be passed to the HTTP request. Or it could just be a red herring. Or a blu herring.

tobor_a item quality in Steam Web API
When I read this article I read about the word "TOBOR" (robot backwards), but this remembered me of the Steam Web API, which had an unused quality named "tobor_a". Screenshot! — Robin0van0der0vliet (talk | contributions) - 10:31, 13 August 2012 (PDT)
- Already noted in Item quality Page. And we're not sure tobor_a quality is the part of this ARG or not. Hinaomi (talk) - (contributions) 11:12, 13 August 2012 (PDT)
ARG closed!?
I saw the newest additions which list every new mvm day as day of the ARG, but isnt that wrong? There are no riddles and it is just information. Hopefully someone can clarify ARG and MvM days, thank you. δ³Σx² 23:45, 14 August 2012 (PDT)
SkeleSpy face
The spy's face on the main page of the official site has become scary. Click it for a torn newspaper and see if you can uncover some sort of new arg? i dunno, but this might be important. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by C2Vproductions (talk) • (contribs) 18:42, 24 October 2012 (UTC-2)

KLAS BAKB
check this link out http://imgur.com/9qY1YVi, btw, the numbers on the classified folder spell out KLAS BAKB when using the 1=a method --Eggmantheheavy (talk) 05:53, 31 December 2013 (PST)
- Assuming you saw the top post. This page is not for speculations. Also as Omolong said, It is not determined whether it is an ARG or not. If you want to start something, bring it to SPUF (Steam forums) not here. Ashes (talk) 13:29, 31 December 2013 (PST)
Broken files
The files File:ARG QR Code Scout.png, File:ARG QR Code Pyro.png and File:ARG QR Code Heavy.png have been removed due being unused, but it was used AS A LINK on this page. The link does not counter as an usage, so it doesn't appear in any page as in "File usage" list on the file. I suppose these needs to be re-uploaded. ▪ - 08:42, 18 April 2015 (PDT)
This page is full of external links, some that seem untrustworthy.
This page is full of external links to Imgur, Imageshack, "git.optf2" (which instances of this one were removed from other pages) and "xkeeper.net". Not on this page, but related, the Barely-Melted Capacitor page has also a link to "lab.xpaw.ru", whatever that domain is... I Vote for a {{cleanup}} on both pages. - ▪ - 02:03, 20 August 2019 (UTC)
- Support These two aren't the only pages affected, I've seen fishy links like these all around here. Personally, I think linking to Discord servers and Reddit posts, on tournament medal pages for example, is an issue aswell, but it's not that important. VasyaTheWizard (talk) • (contributions) 06:46, 20 August 2019 (UTC)
- Support In support of removing links like that, I also think that Reddit posts should stay on Tournament medal pages, but Discords do not. For a Discord you'd have to make an account to access it, a Reddit post you can just read for information. So I'm also in support of removing Discord links but not reddit links.
GrampaSwood (talk) 09:54, 20 August 2019 (UTC)- Support If a link appears to be of any threat, e.g. not running on a secure connection (https) or contain a shady URL/domain name, then feel free to remove it or bring it to staff's attention. In regard to not linking to Discord servers I support this too, as we should try to avoid linking to external sources that require account creation to be accessed; generally all linked sources on the Wiki should be accessible at all times without the need to create an account to view the content.
