Hammer units, also known as HU or Units, are a unit of measurement used by Source Engine games. It is also used to judge the speed of objects and players in-game, mostly for Competitive play. 1 Hammer Unit is the minimum distance the Source Engine can measure.
- The Map and Props use a scale of 1 foot = 16 Hammer units.
- The Skybox as it is a 1/16th scale uses a scale of 1 foot = 1 Hammer unit.
- The Player models use a scale of 1 foot = 12 Hammer units.
