The Superfan is a promotional headwear item for the Scout, given to those who purchased Monday Night Combat on Steam before February 1, 2011. It is a green and white baseball cap identical to the one worn by Bullseye, the Monday Night Combat mascot.
Trivia
- Chandana Ekanayake, the art director for MNC developer Uber Entertainment, said early plans called for the Scout to get the oversized grinning head of Bullseye, the Monday Night Combat mascot, as a hat. However, during the in-game testing, the item turned out to be too big and unwieldy to fit in the game, and it was discarded in favor of the rest of Bullseye's costume, the Superfan and the Athletic Supporter [1].
- In Monday Night Combat, Bullseye, the mascot of MNC, is played by one of MNC's "super-fans" who are stuffed into a costume. Combatants fire constantly at Bullseye for money and prizes, often injuring or killing the (literally) die-hard fan.
