If ya can’t beat ‘em, make ‘em wish they’d stayed home!
The Madcap

The Madcap hails from Dublin, Ireland, where he developed his knack for disruption and unpredictability in the streets and alleyways. Known for his clever tricks and improvisational style, Madcap turned his knack for mischief into a career of creating chaos wherever he's needed. Hired as the ultimate disruptor, he specializes in breaking down the enemy's strategy, rendering their powerhouses and long-range shooters useless. Madcap’s primary role is Offensive Disruption. With his speed, evasiveness, and aim-shaking weaponry, he is the ideal counter for heavy-hitters like Snipers and Heavies. Using a combination of slowing and evasive techniques, Madcap keeps the enemy team’s powerful classes on their toes.

For Madcap, it’s all about disruption—whether it’s throwing off an enemy Sniper’s aim, sending a Heavy sliding uncontrollably across the battlefield, or just making sure the enemy team never has a moment of calm. No plan survives contact with the Madcap, and that’s exactly how he likes it.

Basic strategy

  • Focus on disrupting Snipers, Heavies, and other high-damage classes. Use your tools to make them miss shots, reposition, or slow down, reducing their effectiveness.
  • Hit long-range enemies with the Spraygun to shake their aim. This tactic can be especially effective against Snipers, preventing them from lining up critical shots.
  • Throw Grease Grenades in choke points or at clustered enemies to slow them down and limit their movement options. This gives your team an advantage in positioning.
  • Use the Disruptive Dash to close gaps quickly, confuse enemies, or escape from danger. It provides temporary damage reduction, making it a reliable escape or entry tool.
  • In close quarters, apply bleed damage with the Nail Bat and knock enemies off-balance. The bleeding effect forces them to retreat or seek healing, making them vulnerable.
  • Since you’re a disruptor, your focus should be on making life difficult for the enemy’s most impactful players. Prevent them from finding stable ground or comfortable positions.
  • Keep moving to avoid becoming an easy target. Constant movement also allows you to be where you’re most needed—whether it’s blocking a Sniper’s line of sight or slowing an advancing Heavy.
