Adult Swim is a television network that hosts cartoons oriented towards adults, and is part of the Cartoon Network. In June 2012, they announced an exclusive promotional item, the Robot Chicken Hat, to be released to their fans in Team Fortress 2, along with undisclosed future projects with Valve, which were revealed with the Mecha Update as more cosmetic items.[1] Additionally, Brock Samson, a character from Venture Bros., has appeared in Poker Night 2, where the player can unlock the Samson Skewer as a prize.
Team Fortress 2 was later referenced in the Robot Chicken episode "Choked on Multi-Colored Scarves", which features a sketch in which Robot Chicken's Nerd character is depicted as a class.
