The Computron 5000 is a community-created cosmetic item for the Scout, Heavy, Engineer, Medic, and Spy. It turns the classes' heads into a team-colored, cubic, retro-futuristic robot head, complete with glowing round eyes, two antennas on the sides of the head with glowing orbs on the tips, and a round, flat button on its top.

The turned off lights on the mouth are facial flexed, and turn on depending on the classes' responses.[1]

This item can only be worn around Halloween or during a Full Moon; at other times of the year, it does not appear in gameplay, unless the server has Halloween mode enabled. However, it can be equipped at any time and can still be viewed on the loadout screen even when it is not visible during games.

The Computron 5000 was contributed to the Steam Workshop.

  • [Undocumented] Reverted the previous change to the equip_region of the Computron 5000.

Bugs

  • This item is set up to have equip regions for "Whole Head"   and    "Head Skin", but does not due to incorrectly using equip_region to define multiple equip regions.
