Removing

I have been trading for a LONG TIME I know what to do - Trusting admins is the safest thing you can do on any trading server because if they take whatever it is you trust them with - They either lose donations to their server OR they lose their power, Please go ask anyone who the most trusted person on an unusual hat club server is. The awnser will most likely involve "cloudy" And he is an admin - I built my entire backpack with 30 keys and buying promo games, now I have every non max/medal promo, every vintage item, and all but two genuines. Please stop removing my edits that are in fact helpful to most people - Thank you. {{subst:void|This template should always be substituted. No, trusting admins on a trading server simply because they are an admin is just about the worst thing you can do. I've already proven that an admin of a certain server will lie without a second thought to get themselves a better trade. (Which involved a claim that their hat is the only existing hat with a particular quality that was disproven by a quick database search on optf2) Your credentials don't have any place on this wiki, especially considering that people have their own style of trading and trading itself actually hasn't existed long enough for anyone to claim they have been doing it for a "long time". The fact is that your edits are probably helpful to admins looking to exploit the trust of people to get a good trade, but that is about it. -- Lagg Backpack Stickybomb Launcher.png 21:46, 30 March 2011 (UTC)
I personally consider half a year a long time. Also - Why do you insist on editing every page of this wiki? Do you spend your days doing that? Removing information that is helpful to people - Even if I was wrong about the admin, I doubt I was, you may be talking about a donator, still, the other information was relevent. Also where is your proof? Simply because you say it dosen't make it true, my father is the heavy and my mother is the pyro. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Graeme (talk) • (contribs)
I've personally seen what Lagg has described a few times, admins using their position to coerce naive people into bad deals. Trusting admins in general is a bad idea, and bad advice to newbies. Simple as. I'm not sure what you're referring to when you say 'Why do you insist on editing every page of this wiki?'. I make edits where they are needed, as any editor would. If you're referring to your recent Heavy trivia then please have a read through our trivia guidelines. Also please remember to sign your comments with ~~~~. It isn't a long time, and as staff it's our job to maintain pages and intervene when there are incorrect or potentially damaging edits like your own. No I was not talking about a donor. However by saying yourself that there are trade servers that give admin rights for donations and those that donate may misuse them. you lost your own argument. My proof are the people that will confirm that I did this database search, and linked to the items themselves (Most of the wiki channel). Unlike these servers I have a very real reputation myself on the line, both as the author and maintainer of optf2 and as a staff member. I have no motivation to provide false information. -- Lagg Backpack Stickybomb Launcher.png 22:05, 30 March 2011 (UTC)
