Wikichievement for contributors to TFC articles
I have no ideas for pictures, names or descriptions now, but it makes sense that we provide an incentive for people to work on TFC articles. ~ lhavelund

- Something like: "The Classy-c Editor : Edit and Update the Team Fortress Classic part of the Wiki" Tturbo (T/C) 16:01, 18 February 2011 (UTC)

With the last incident of someone having used Google Translate, I notice how hard it was to track down the pages and delete them... So an idea for rewarding this work. Tturbo (T/C) 16:01, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, I like dis new chievement. — Wind 00:30, 23 February 2011 (UTC)

I made this one because it would be good for the userbox makers since theres no achievement for making these and alot of the users (including myself) likes to sprite up their userpages. I have another one in mind, but I dont wanna bring it up before you guys are agreed to this Wikichievement. The Noble Scout R9t4 20:22, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
- The Userboxes are a very minor part of a purely aesthetic part of the Wiki. They are hardly worth a Wikichievement (Even though I would get about four of this one right now for my userboxes) -- Firestorm 02:21, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
- Remember Firestorm that i said userboxes. Which mean no one knows how many userboxes it needs to be, so it means that it must be alot of them. The Noble Scout 17:30, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
- These sort of wikichievements shouldn't be encouraged. Creating tons of userboxes doesn't benefit or improve the actual wiki in any way. It's nice to decorate your userpage with them, but we'd much rather spend your time contributing to the wiki instead of creating countless arbitrary userboxes. Sorry :( —Moussekateer·talk 17:37, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
- Well, then i'll make a better suggestion later since this one was abit of a failure :S The Noble Scout 18:19, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

I made this one to test a series based on grouping. As in making an article criticized by 2 groups. The first group liking/praising the article, and the second group... eh, not so much. If you don't understand, then basically imagine making an article about a recent TF2 edition. 30 people so far view the article. 15 of them like it and 15 of them don't like it. But more people will probably dislike this Wikichievement than like it :P The Great Irish Warload 00:45, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
- What is this rewarding? Making an article that splits the community or that isn't worth editing? Not a good Wikichievement at all. -- Firestorm 02:21, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
- So I guess I was right about this receiving more hate then like :/ The Great Irish Warload 03:14, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
- Too easy to get, just making one like Benjamuffin did with Demopan and you are done. The Noble Scout 17:25, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

The thing about this little wikichievement must be on english to make it a competition between the users who makes articles to the TF Wiki. Its a good idea i thought, but i need your meanings and to achieve this it must be either a new item or map etc.... or just what the description says. The Noble Scout 13:42, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
- There's already the Frontier Notice Wikichievement that does that if I remember the description correctly. Tturbo (T/C) 15:07, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, true... The Noble Scout (T/C) 21:12, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
- This would just encourage users to spam and make a useless page. The Wikichievements should not generally have solid requirements or it will emphasize spamming and not being userful. Also, to both of you, please reduce the size of your signatures, there's no reason for them to take up so much room -- Firestorm 21:37, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

For those who'd rather help other users and teach them how they can contribute positively to the Wiki. The title/text may not be clear, so those can be modified later. – Epic Eric (T | C) 00:06, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
- I Like this wikichievement, something that Recruiter doesn't count. But another name would make it even more awesome. Tturbo (T/C) 01:23, 23 March 2011 (UTC)

I'm not sure about the description. But this could be useful for those who'd like to give out things. GeminiViRiS Talk · Contribs 23:13, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
- I don't see how this is related with the Wiki. – Epic Eric (T | C) 23:27, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
- I want this to be real.... I give away stuff all the time, lol --Stevoisiak 02:15, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
- Me too, there are some wiki users that really deserve it – Ohyeahcrucz[T][C] 02:17, 4 April 2011 (UTC)

- I agree with EpicEric. If there were achievements for general purposes, this would be worthy. Alas, these are wikiachievements, and strictly wiki related. --Nihilus0(contribs) 02:19, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
Oppose I see no purpose in this. It's not contributing to the Wiki to give away stuff -- Firestorm 02:26, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
- Nope Why doing that, it will be very generous by others to get and give stuff, but how can you relate Wiki workers to this one, GeminiViRiS? The Noble Scout (T/C) 08:15, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, yes, silly me for not making an achievement not relating to the Wiki. But I thought I'd throw an idea out here for the community of the Wiki. See, in the IRC chat, some folks are clamoring that they don't have "X" game for pack "Y". Whether they're cheap or can't afford it, it's always nice to give rather than receive. —GeminiViRiS Talk · Contribs

Question
How do you determine who deserved achievement, and who's not?-- ( |) 07:41, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
Please improve the "who deserved achievement" part and I might be able to answer your question. The Great Irish Warload 03:46, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
