Fish

Gentlemen, we are now beating people with fishes. How awesome is that? -- OluapPlayer (t) Howdy, pardner! 21:48, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

Not right now. Be a gentle manne and put the poor cod down. -The Neotank ( | Talk) User The Neotank Signeotank.gif 21:51, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
Well, we were already eating Sandviches that recover wounds from people shooting arrows through our head. Still pretty awesome! --Firestorm  User Firestorm Nuke Sig.jpg 21:51, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
Let's make a Sandvich party for our new fish bats! Oh wait, we can't do parties anymore... -- OluapPlayer (t) Howdy, pardner! 21:54, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
Yes you can, you just have to be sneaky >.> --Firestorm  User Firestorm Nuke Sig.jpg 23:01, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
I'm hoping it will slap on some sort of oil on you when your hit, causing mini crits, similar to jarate coating, but the weapon would do little or no damage. I know for sure I wouldn't want to get slapped by a disgusting/slimy fish! you guys have any other crazy ideas of what it could possibly do? I want to hear them! Guy 23:26, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

So...

This is a bit disappointing. I do like the packs and all but...what ever happened to the Demoman, Heavy, Engineer, and Medic? AbeX300 21:49, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

They will mostly likely be released at a later date --Firestorm  User Firestorm Nuke Sig.jpg 21:49, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
It's confirmed, some items will "find there way in" in later updates. --SLBros 22:08, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
Source? Strange Quirk 22:11, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
It was on the Polycount website, which is down due to excessive traffic --Firestorm  User Firestorm Nuke Sig.jpg 22:14, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
Got a source [1]. --Firestorm  User Firestorm Nuke Sig.jpg 22:38, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
Oh. Well once EVERYONE knows that, and once the update gets released...IT BEGIIIIIINS! --The preceding unsigned comment was added by AbeX300 (talk) • contribs)

New pages for the items?

Or at least a mention on the respective class pages and weapon chart? --KazooieBanjo 00:25, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

As of yet, we don't know if these are going to be the names of the weapons, so making a page that would just be moved/deleted is pointless --Firestorm  User Firestorm Nuke Sig.jpg 00:26, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
Would it be worthwhile to put them in the weapon and hat charts, or no? -KazooieBanjo 00:27, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
No, for the same reason, we'd have to go back and change them all, and you never know exactly what Valve is going to do. --Firestorm  User Firestorm Nuke Sig.jpg 00:32, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

Add Your Stats Assumptions Here

Just tell us what you assume the stats are for a weapon. Here is my assumption of the Black Box, and also compares to the Rocket Launcher! --The preceding unsigned comment was added by AbeX300 (talk) • contribs)

This is the talk page for the Polycount Update, not stat speculation. Please refrain from posting such theories. We'll have the actual stats soon enough. -- En Ex (talk) 05:15, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

The official name

Is it the Polycount Pack? Polycount Update? Polycount Pack Update? Polycount Contest? -- Nineaxis Duck Gib.png 04:20, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

For now I would go with Polycount Update and wait for word on Valve if they call it anything else. -04:22, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
It's referenced everywhere else as the Polycount Pack, not the Polycount Update. Also, sign your comments with ~~~~ please. -- Nineaxis Duck Gib.png 04:26, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

Winner's backgound

AFAIK Larolaro is also the creator of the Homewrecker, and Progg of the Hound Dog? Anyone knows the others? --Kid Of The Century 11:07, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
