Template talk:Userlink

Purpose

Typing {{subst:Userlink|Pilk}} takes a lot longer than typing [[User:Pilk|]]. What is this template meant to do? -- Pilk _(talk) 02:26, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

*Shrug* not sure, though it's designed so that it automatically puts [[User:Pilk|Pilk]]. Might be a BIT better if you have a longer name like "Smashman" >.> --Firestorm   03:35, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

Typing [[User:Pilk|]] (note the "|") automatically does [[User:Pilk|Pilk]] when the page is saved. Basic wiki markup knowledge! -- Pilk _(talk) 04:30, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
