Talk:Meet the Engineer
Just a minor observation
But it seems as if at the end, the environment is from a modified section of Hydro? despite Intelligence cases being involved... — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Awesome Weegee (talk) • (contribs) 20:50, 17 August 2011
- Nah, it's just a wee hill in the middle of a desert. There aren't really any distinguishing features. » Cooper Kid (blether·contreebs) 07:11, 18 August 2011 (PDT)
- oh ok i was only just saying because it was just like the road with the guardrail...from that part of hydro...the guardrail is in the video just like it--Awesome Weegee 10:03, 28 August 2011 (PDT)
A Minor Edit
This is just something I noticed with the transcript of Meet the Engineer, it says "How am I going to stop some big mean mother hubbard from tearing me a structurally superfluous new behind?" I think it makes more sense for him to say 'structurally superfluous new beehive,' since beehives are full of holes so a human full of holes would not be a very good beehive, which would make a better joke or at least make more sense. - I know it's not very easy to hear exactly what he says, but if you watch his mouth at that point in the video it's clear that he's making an "nd" noise, not a "v". » Cooper Kid (blether) • (contreebs) 17:21, 8 December 2011 (PST)
- I'm pretty sure that you're right and I'm wrong now, but just to be sure, couldn't he be be pronouncing the v very softly? I'm no expert, but from simply saying 'beehive' and 'behind,' I find that the way you say endings can look very similar, especially if said softly enough. Not to mention the Engineer's accent might have an effect. Traveller 15:23, 9 December 2011 (PST)
