View Most Recent Version

The "view most recent version of this image" link doesn't work properly. I've looked at how it's coded, but I can't figure out whats wrong with it. Might wanna compare this version of the notice to an older one where the link did work, see what went wrong. 404: User Not Found (talk) 09:28, 22 December 2011 (PST)

The link won't work on the actual template page because it's not a file page. Unless you mean there is a file page where it's not working, in which case please show me an example. User Moussekateer signature sprite.pngMoussekateer·talk 09:36, 22 December 2011 (PST)
Every page. Want a screenshot or two? I'll take 'em. On every file page I've looked at in FireFox (latest version, it's all I run lol), all I see instead of the link is what's shown on this page. Here's an example (no screenshots):
Backpack:Dr. Grordbort's Silver Crest.png
"[?1324576244 View the most recent version of this file stored on the server]"
To sum things up, I see things similar to the above example on every image page. I have to copy and paste the "?#######" into the link manually. 404: User Not Found (talk) 09:52, 22 December 2011 (PST)
I have seen this off and on for a couple of weeks as well. – fashnek (talk·c) 09:55, 22 December 2011 (PST)
This seems to be a bug with the filepath parser function and file names that contain certain characters (such as apostrophes) and the attempt to escape them. The bug is documented here but I cannot find a solution that would work for our exact needs. I'll bring it up with more knowledgable types though. Glad to see I'm not the only one seeing this bug :P Hopefully we can get it fixed. 404: User Not Found (talk) 11:34, 22 December 2011 (PST)
